Yes, I'd buy another CanonSX530HS. Now that we have that out of the way this is a few reasons why. The ZOOM is amazing! You will need a tripod above 100x magnification for sure and a little patience. I've read plenty of negative reviews but, they are expecting too much. It takes several seconds to focus the further you zoom as it did with my $500 manual zoom lens from the 80's. TIP #1 Use the phone app to zoom and trigger the shutter to avoid shaking the camera.This camera allows the user to chose from fully manual to a Point and Shoot. There are options for film ISO speed, F-stop, and, the aperture ( limited to a few), for using in semi-auto. Pick one and let the camera adjust the other settings. TIP #2 If you don't understand the above terminology consider buying a less expensive model or learning how to maximize these features. Take the time, and you will start taking more photographs and fewer pictures.TIP#3 Bundles are everywhere, and the pictures don't always match so read the description carefully or contact the seller to be sure. The reviews don't always mean they came from customers of the seller you are considering buying from so focus on the ability of the product.The Cabin is across the lake from the deck pic. I am desperately trying to replace my Canon SX40. I purchased two other better rated cameras and returned both. The items that came with the product were different than pictured. The extra battery was not the brand shown but I received an extra portable tripod that was really cool. I am not a techy so thought the cable was the one that goes between my camera and computer- it is not. This will be my kayaking and hiking camera. Don't want extra lenses to hassle with. So far I like the grip. If you have large hands it may be a bit tight. I like the controls because similar to old SX40 so I don't have to relearn a lot. Seems to wash out (bright) on Auto . Finding myself using the the Modes that I never used on the SX40. I also don't miss the swivel screen that came on my old camera. This is much lighter weight. Can't wait to try this out on my next adventure. Bye Bye old SX40.

Got the camera middle of April. Love the features and camera when the battery isn't dead.....the battery life is not working for me. I had a Nikon Coolpix L810 that I loved. Although it used 4 AA batteries, learned to keep battery replacements with camera at all times. The shutter button was wearing out on it, so after complaints from my daughter and sister to get a new camera that didn't use AA batteries, got this one. Both batteries on my Canon died taking pictures of my grandsons birthday party for anout 3 hours. Thankfully I had the old camera with me to finish out party.What is up with the batteries?!!!!!! If not for batteries dying, I would rate this camera higher. Still learning to use it but very disappointed with the 2 batteries that came with camera. Would love to hear feedback on that issue.

Everything in the picture was in the package. The camera takes amazing shots and it is so easy to use

Okay, so I take it these aren't brand new cameras. Also, the bundle I received differs somewhat from the bundle pictured. In place of an extra battery (which was the only reason I bought the bundle) I recieved a little air blower (useless).Mistake buying it from a one-off retailer rather than Canon. Lesson learned.
