Nice Working Tripod
I am very happy with this purchase. I have used tripods before, but they have been attached to things like a telescope Or for canvas painting. This was my first ever camera tripod purchase! The quality and look is excellent. It was very easy to install. Adjusting was easy. Great value for the money. It fits in a standard size backpack for adults. Lightweight And sturdy!!

A lightweight tripod at a good price.
I struggled with rating this item. There are things to like about this tripod and things not to like. Overall, I don't think a star rating really reflects what this tripod is...and isn't. Better to read the reviews (and not just this one) to help decide whether this tripod is for you.To begin with, it's a very lightweight tripod which makes it easy to carry around. It packs small but fully extended, it's a tall tripod, This gives you tremendous flexibility in the use of the tripod. The tradeoff for the lightweight and length, is that the legs are very flimsy. This gives the tripod a flexibility of a difference sort...it can be a wobbly, especially if you mount something heavy on it. Also, sturdy is not a word that you would use to describe this tripod. But at the end of the day, it is very functional and if the light weight is an advantage, one may be willing to trade off the lack of sturdiness and wobbliness. The biggest disappointment, for me at least, is that the tripod head is scaled down from a typical tripod head. Small knobs and a small tiller. A standard sized tripod head would add very little weight and would work so much better. The tripod head seems designed for small lightweight cameras and mobile phones. A standard SLR or mirrorless camera body/lens can be used with this tripod head but unless your camera/lens combo is well balanced, you are going to have to crank down HARD on the knobs to keep things from slipping. The tripod head does have a bubble level built into it, though, and that can be a handy thing. All in all, where this tripod really shines is when it is used with a mobile phone or small point and shoot camera and that really seems to be what it was designed for. It comes with an accessory that you can use to mount your mobile phone with. This mount works really well. It holds the phone securely in both portrait and landscape modes. The tripod also comes with a BlueTooth "shutter release". I found this to work very well with my Galaxy S23. Indeed, if I was using this tripod with a mobile phone, I would deem the remote shutter release almost mandatory. In any case, it is very handy and as I said, it works very well.Bottom line is that if you understand the limitations of the tripod and are willing to work within them, I think you will like this tripod a lot. For me, this tripod doesn't do everything I need it to do, but it does do enough that it is handy to have.

Not too sure
i do not wish to leave a terrible review but i must tell the next person who will buy this my honest opinion.over all, if i were to buy a tripod again.... it would not be this one.i honestly got this set due to the phone camera mount and the remote. these 2 items are great!i used this set up during our recent "northern lights" event. the phone mount and the remote were perfect in every way but the tripod is flimsy. it held my phone but i would not put any of my main cameras on this tripod.the extension is good but it is just too tiny in material. i'd rather have a huge and bulky tripod.please don't get me wrong. this tripod is good with my GoPro attached. this is probably what i will use it for when recording straight shots but for me, i will look some more for a more bulky tripod.

Versatile Tripod
UPDATE: The seller sent a new remote and it works perfectly. I'm upgrading my rating to reflect the good customer service and the fact the new remote works as advertised. I'm happy with the product and happy with the support. Recommended! The Good: I like the tripod a lot. It's very versatile in that it can hold a camera or a phone. The phone holder is two-sided. One side has vertical orientation for portrait shots and the other a horizontal orientation for landscape shots. I have an oversized phone and case and my phone fits either orientation with ease. I have an older camera but it has the standard size screw input so even my old phone fits the tripod when not using the phone. Along with the tripod you get a phone/tablet holder, a remote control fob, and a carrying bag. The remote and carrying bag aren't shown in my pictures. The phone/camera holder can rotate into a variety of positions. The tripod height can also be adjusted from 17 inches to 67 inches and anywhere in between. Each leg can be set to a different height so it can be easily used on unlevel ground. There's also a small bubble level built into the camera holder to ensure you get a perfectly level shot if you're picky. The leg locks are actually pretty cleverly designed. Flip the lock open to slide the leg out, flip it closed to lock it in place. Each leg has three sections/locks that operate independently. The Bad: I find no fault with the tripod, but the remote control doesn't work with my Android phone. The remote is supposed to work with Android version 4.3 and later, and mine is version 7 so it should work. It took several tries to get it to pair, but it did. The phone keeps saying the remote is disconnected even though the two devices are paired. I wrote to the company for a solution but haven't heard back yet, which is fine because it been less than 24 hours. If they offer a solution that works I'll update this review and increase the rating to five stars—the tripod deserves it, but the remote brings it down to the 4-star rating you see.
