Yes, this is the best thing since sliced bread.
Another reviewer said this is the best thing since sliced bread. I agree. My teeth were noticeably whiter after just one mild treatment. It also has other cleaning applications. I used it on white and rust stains around my kitchen and bathroom taps, and on my grout and tile (which I then resealed). It was very effective in getting the water spots off my glass shower doors as well.

Better than Baking Soda
I bought this because I had some stubborn stains on the inside of my teeth that no amount of scrubbing could dislodge. I had t wait for a dental cleaning to budge those stains and by that time, it was embarrassing (though my hygenist never makes me feel that way, just my own vanity). Anyway, I use an organic toothpaste with no grit whatsoever and the baking soda and peroxide I used in conjunction were not having he desired effect. When the dentist took out some pumice to polish my teeth in office, I immediately asied about it. I went home, looked it up and ordered some. Totally worth it. It works so much better than baking soda and the grittiness makes me feel like my teeth are really clean. It's a naturally derived product so no junk ingredients either.

Polish your teeth and your skin with ease. Great for Keratosis Pilaris too!
I have sticky skin cells that don't shed easily. Once a week I have to soak in a bath and vigorously scrub or scrap to remove that layer and keep the chicken skin at bay. I have been using a fine pumice stone, but it has edges on it and I end up scraping my skin here and there. Now I mix whatever cleaning agent I am going to use (usually cleansing oil or Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser) with the pumice beforehand and afterward, my skin is beautifully polished and smooth! I couldn't believe how bright my face looked after using this just once!! Also, I used it once on my teeth and they are so smooth and white! I plan on repeating this on my teeth every 2 months or so. I am really in love with this stuff. :)

It will exfoliate
It says coarse but it's all relative. For perspective, it feels like light sand grit. If you plan on using with soap or lotion, I wouldn't go any more fine. Depending on the quantity you use, it can be a little too abrasive for the face but it was great for the hands.

Well packaged, great product.
This pumice came well packaged in a re-closable, sturdy plastic bag, which stands up on it's own. No crappy bag that you need to throw out. A sturdy and quality feeling scoop was included. This 'coarse' pumice is coarse, exactly what I wanted to be able to clean and texture softer metals. You can feel the grit between the fingers. It will leave fine, but visible scratches to the naked eye on silver and probably all softer metals. This is what I wanted. I have a little old, very fine pumice left over, which works for leaving a very soft texture on soft metals. Since I am low on it, I will buy a finer grit from this same company (Dharma). My packages was shipped and delivered promptly, too. Very happy customer. A+ experience.
