It is sturdy and pretty well build. On the negative side, with the cover on my phone (Motorola Droid Turbo 2), it is an extremely tight fit. The jaws need to be a few millimeters deeper to properly hold it. I can get my phone to stay in, but the slightest bump to the phone and it falls out. It does stay in with most bumps in the road. The other negative is that the neck is too short. I drive an RX8 with a short curved dashboard and low windshield. I've placed it as far back as it can go, and that's just barely on the front edge of the dashboard and the phone bumps into the windshield. The last negative is that the base is stiff. As I said, my dashboard is curved and the edges of this thing will not conform to the curve. It wants to sit perfectly flat. Appears to be made of good quality materials. Works well on an iPhone 6 without a bumper case or with a thinner case. I would give 4.5 stars as there is nothing wrong with functionality.I would have given 5 stars if it would fit Otterbox case with ease. Had to stretch it to its maximum to hold an iPhone 6 with Otterbox case. Still works, it would be nice nice to have that 1-2 inches to accommodate a popular case like Otterbox.
