This LiangCuber QiYi cube smart timer works well for starting out speed cubing. The timer is responsive and keeps track of how many solves. The led lights indicate when the timer is ready once hands are placed on the pads. As soon as you remove your hands, the timer instantly starts. There are screws included for the underside of the timer if you want to secure the timer onto your table mat to keep the timer tightly in place. This is great for practicing for competitions. The timer is easy to use, the ap is very nice and also easy to use. It needs AAA batteries (not included) and the battery cover is secured with a screw. It comes with a phone stand as well. It is a nice quality timer and a good value.

Very solid timer. Works well and is as accurate as you need for casual usage. Son is a cuber and has been enjoying the upgrade vs the starter one we bought a couple years ago.

So much fun playing like a pro.
