The media could not be loaded. Background: After purchasing dimmable LED lights, to replace my incandescent lights, when dimming the LEDs they would blink instead of dim. Since my light switch were old (about 13 years) I decided to replace the dimming switches before returning the lights. The fixtures now operate absolutely flawlessly.The single cover plate, which comes with the dimmer, is slightly shorter, and also thinner/flimsier, than a typical cover plate. This is not really a problem unless someone painted around the old plates without removing them first then you might have to do a paint touch up or, just buy new plates or reuse your old one.Installation of these dimmers was easy and straightforward provided you identify the hot/common wire prior to removing the old switch.For those who have not worked with 3-way switches before, the diagram used in the instructions is just ONE (most common) of several ways a three-way switch might be wired. If your switch does not have a 14/2 (or could be 12/2) wire coming in and a 14/3 going out, as depicted in the diagram and, instead, have just one 14/3 wire coming in, do not assume the black wire is the hot or common. IN my case it was a white wire that needed to be attached to the switches black wire. SO, in short, just take note of which wires go to your old switch: connect the black wire of this new switch, to whatever wire was connected to the black terminal/screw on your old switch and the other two traveler wires, to this switches red wires you will then be all set ..Update: I updated this to 5 star because I purchased two name Brand switches for my guest bedroom and bath. Even being a name brand, they did not have a dimmer adjustment screw like these do. While they worked with incandescent lights, when I put LEDs in, the lights would turn off about halfway through the throw of the dimmer switch and, there was no way to adjust the dimmer like these switches have.

He did not like the fact the lights flickered and i asked if they were dimmable and he had no clue so i looked into them and they are but with a special switch which is $$$$$

Bought 3 but had to return 1 because it unfortunately wasn’t working. I like the dimmer feature but light does shut off completely before sliding dimmer all the way to off. Overall great for price

Worked great once I read the instructions... "Only install one in the three way circuit" ... I turned a 30 min job into a 3hr job by installing 2 fader switches in the same 3way circuit. When all else fails read the instructions...

Brings a whole new look for my roomsThey were easy for my electrical to install and he remarked of its quality. I’ve always had dimmer in my dinning , bedrooms and kitchen . You will like them!

rather than go with the standard screw down connection you would normally find in a light switch, these had loose wires coming out that you are meant to twist to your wires and wire nut. while wire nuts are fine, screw down is far better and wire nutting a very thin stranded wire to fullsize wires without messing up the stranded wire isnt exactly easy. you also cant do waco connectors easily because of the huge difference in wire size.the switch itself is a bulky plastic box that takes up too much space in the junction box, especially considering you are fitting wire nuts in there as well.it feels very cheap, which gives me bad feelings about the safety of this. the thin stranded wires seem like they are just begging to get overloaded due to a short and burn the house down, all without tripping the breaker because they are so much lower capacity than the wires the breaker is meant to handle.

The dimming on led light doesn’t work…it’s flickering.

In 3-way applications if you mix up the line & load red wires it will work but causes a strobe or flickering effect.

I also had an issue with one of the dimmers in the duo pack. i was offered to return the both for credit but preferred getting a replacement. I am building an addition to my house and I have all my electrical supplies from this company(switches, single pole and three way, réceptacles with and without USB chargers, dimmers including wifi also face plates single, double and triple) this dimmer was the first piece that gig not function properly. everything else worked great. I found their product to be of excellent quality, well built sturdy and dependable. I hot a replacement dimmer in two days, yeah,two. the dimmers do require some micro adjustments but with the money I saved on all this equipment, I could afford the extra 3 minutes in labor. A great product at a very reasonable price and an outstanding after sales service.
