Easy to use, really helpful.
I wish I had thought of this. It is very easy to use and works really well. My husband was able to put on his own compression socks (the over the thigh kind) following hip surgery almost immediately. He loved the independence. It was really helpful!

Amazon Solved the Frustration
I am 88 years old, in reasonably good health; however, my 65 year old son was frustrated with my struggling to put on compression socks after using my compression boots for lymphedema. We immediately thought of Amazon for the answer. Wow! We found the perfect answer; a compression sock aid device. If you read the description, and all the info, it’s one of the most useful accessories I have ever tried to use. I can use it all by myself. What a relief, the perfect solution. Kudos Amazon!

Compression Sock Aid Missing One Handle
There was supposed to be a left & right black raised handle for 2 hands. One handle was absolutely not in the box, missing. So the product will not work as a compression sock device. Since 30mm to 40mm is a bit too tight, I will likely double the 15mm socks to get the 30mm compression. I ordered also from Amazon, womens Trueform 30 to 40 mm compression socks. Have worn these several days getting a runner in each sock. But compression is strong enough to order Trueform 30mm gain. So my plan is to wear 2 knee high socks of 15mm to achieve 30mm and no more. My Blue Cross OTC has sent the weaker socks & a few men's socks to try. So, I want to return the compression socks KIT to Amazon without one handle. Thru Whole Foods. Also discovered Walgreen's copper socks which did fit properly, have a toxic chemical starting with B in them, harmful to "young ladies" reproductive systems & development, or circulation systems, a CA warning on cardboard that comes with socks. IF Amazon sells these. (I am 76, a warning from CA on wrapper) so put those away. Rather shocking to young women, though as it affects circulation. I recovered from a oeg laceration after six months under nurse care.

Works well with tube socks, handles are short
We noticed our mom has trouble bending over far enough to reach the handles. If the reason you need an assist with putting on socks is limited mobility to bend from the waist, this might not work for you. Tube socks work really well with this. Socks where you need to get the heel in the right place work, but you do have to line them up. Small sized socks work, but the half tube that holds the sock open for you is fairly big, and may stretch them. We do not have long fingernails, so did not need the gloves, but it is a nice touch (we put the gloves on a magnetic clip on the freezer for rooting around to find the fudge you hid). Comes with a small mat which we also put to use elsewhere.

Well Worth The Money!
Works much better than the other 3 I’ve tried! The socks and stockings slide on the device so easily… Having the large silicone mat helps immensely, especially when you have wood or tile floors. Plus the silicone mat is so much larger than expected. Well worth the extra cost! All of the other products I’ve tried were a waste of money…

Compression Sock Device worth the money
This compression sock device does work as it says it does. However, if you have a very tight compression sock, it can be a bit of a struggle to put it on the device. My compression sock is at a 20/30 compression so I had to work a bit to get it on, but I was able to slide it down and ease my foot into the sock. Some people might find it too difficult if the sock is extremely tight. Once I had the sock on the tool, It then went on with ease. I feel I got a good product for the money. Money well spent.

Got these for my aunt. A bit tricky to start but once she got the hang of it, she was so happy.

Purchased for my 92 yr old father who has trouble lifting his leg. Handles not quite long enough. Also the gloves don't grip well so when you try to slide the sock with them the glove slips. My father can't use it at all. I now use it but just to get it over my foot and then I use a rubber glove to slide it the rest of the way. I personally would not recommend it. Feel it is way overpriced.
