Nice Carrier
I bought this for my mobility scooter. It was easy to put together, I did it by myself in about an hour. It is a little heavy to put on the hitch and I need another person to put on, but it is very sturdy. I have towed it on my F150 and my Explorer. The ramp works well, but it is harder to load on the taller F150. Overall very good and would recommend for others.

Nice Sturdy Cargo Hauler and Ramp!!
My wife and I came very close to ordering the ramp system from Harbor Freight, but then we noticed many negative reviews, related to not enough cross-members in the ramp section. We found the MaxxHaul 70275 on Amazon and we are extremely happy with our purchase! Unlike the HF ramp, this ramp has plenty of cross-members in the ramp. allowing equipment to be loaded easily. The ramp was simple and easy to install, especially if you have a 2nd person. The ramp does come with an anti-rotational device for the receiver hitch, as well as two reflectors for the rear end. We easily loaded our Pride Rally scooter and were able to utilize the corner tie-downs to secure the scooter. Deploying the ramp is very easy and it is long enough to reach the curb in most cities. The aluminum ramp is sturdy, but not too heavy to handle. IF there is a negative, the small pins that secure the ramp in the upright position really need lanyards to prevent being lost. This is a very simple fix with small pieces of steel fishing leader and crimps! My wife and I both love this ramp and highly recommend it to anyone in need of a cargo hauler, with a nice ramp!

Good Bang for the Buck
Let me start by saying that this is worth the money. For what you get and the strength it works great. I gave it a 4 star only because it sags quite a bit when you put a load over 200 pounds on it. The quality is really good for the price point and it is easy to assemble. I will say if you have a power tool and an attachment, you will want to use that. It has like 40 little nuts and bolts to attach everything. Took me about an hour to assemble so not too terrible. Again great item for the price just know that it does sage with heavier items and that again is why I gave it a 4.

Awesome carrier!
Bought this to carry my 135lbs pressure washer and 5 gallon gas can to pressure washing jobs. Carrier was delivered as expected. Box had a fair amount of external damage. Some areas had minor bending which I straightened out. One area on top of rail has a noticeable dent but didnโt affect performance. The frame was slightly โsprungโ out of square causing the ramp to be out of alignment. I was able to correct it enough so ramp functions. Assembly instructions were adequate. All bolts/nuts were loose and required snugging up. *Be prepared to have a variety of METRIC tools when you assemble. Overall build quality was very good. The 60โ folding ramp is an excellent idea and was the largest I found. The aluminum is pretty solid as are the metal brackets that hold up the ramp. *I strongly recommend to the manufacturer to drastically improve the packaging to protect the unit during shipping. Based on a number of reviews, inadequate packaging design seems to be the cause of most reviews about damage. Item arrived when expected and it performs the job as intended.

VERY Mixed Feelings About This ...
I had great hopes for this, and still am hoping, but the first impression hasn't been great. I'm still hoping, though, that my concerns turn out to be relatively unimportant, in the long haul. Quality Control is Very Poor! -- One of the thin upright supports had rivets installed at the top, but they didn't go through the holes on that part. It's totally disconnected, and was immediately obvious when unboxed. -- The two pieces of the folding ramp were fastened together out of alignment, so that one side bumps into the side rail when folding it up, and the other one has a big gap between it and the side rail. That may not be a big deal over time, but these two sloppy manufacturing issues don't give me the confidence in the quality of the product that I'd like to have. Assembly Instructions Kinda Suck! - It seems reasonable to assume that many--perhaps most--of the purchasers of this item will be disabled, yet the written instructions and illustrations are *tiny* and very hard to make out, even with corrective glasses. If the seller is too cheap to use a whole sheet of paper, what other cost-cutting corners have they taken? - The instructions themselves are only marginally helpful, even if you can read/see them. They might as well have boiled them down to: Don't sue us if you put it together wrong, and put it together right ... figure it out. - The anti-rattle device actually works well, once you figure out that the instructions show a totally different design from what they shipped, and their instructions for that are useless. You will eventually figure it out by trial and error, but that's a pretty poor approach. I want to assemble it *correctly* the first time, and I want to be able to clearly know how to assemble it correctly. Very Thin Material - I know that it needs to be light, and I can appreciate that, but when I first tried to load my mobility device onto it by backing it up the ramp, the little stabilizing wheels contacted the metal on the ramp and started to put grooves into it. I turned the device around, and it loaded up okay, but I was really surprised that so little pressure would crease the treads. Hard to Mount Level - Maybe I haven't yet figured out the ideal way to install and adjust the anti-rattle device (see comment about worthless directions), but my rack presently is tilted noticeably down on one side. I'd really trust it more if it was level. It's not a huge difference, but one that's clearly noticeable. It is, however, tightly secured and doesn't wobble or rattle. Time will tell, but I sure don't want to have an expensive "scooter" damaged because the device I bought to transport it doesn't meet the specifications given for load, etc.. All of this may end up being worry for nothing, but I shouldn't have this sort of thing causing me to worry about a brand new product.

Great value, strong carrier. Easy to assemble
Assembled and mounted in about 2.5 hours by myself. Purchased to transport a Pride Victory 10 scooter 250 miles. Secured with bungee cords. Great performance from the carrier. Only thing I would change would be to include the ability to fold it up when not in use. -But for the money, it is excellent!

Great mobility scooter rack. Great price.
Good instructions. Not too difficult to assemble. Light enough to be easily mounted in the receiver on your vehicle. The ramp is easy to secure in the up/travel position and there are eye rings for straps to hold your gear or mobility scooter in place. The slats in the ramp are close enough together to allow a mobility scooter to smoothly roll up onto the platform. The rails around the sides prevent accidents loading, and have the DOT required reflectors. Comes complete with a device to prevent rattling, receiver pin and clip, and locking pins to secure the ramp in the up position. It's a pretty nice ramp and is both economical and well built. I recommend it for anyone looking to bring a mobility scooter or power wheelchair to events, shopping, or healthcare visits, where mobility devices are not supplied.

Lightweight and sturdy
This was the perfect size to carry my mobility scooter on. The main reason I purchased this one was because it was aluminum and it is light weight. I have a full length brace on my leg and I am non-weight bearing for 12 weeks. I was concerned about being able to lift/lower the ramp while only able to use 1 leg. This was a great purchase. My neighbor used rivets instead of the screws that came with it to beef it up a little more when he put it together for me. Once the carrier was installed on the car, the bracket to prevent any movement of the carrier was installed and there is absolutely no noise, or movement of the carrier at all while driving over bumps, gravel roads etc. I would recommend this. It's very stable, sturdy, and easy to use. It was well worth the money.
