I have long been a wearer of the Sloggi Double Comfort pants with their Extra-long gusset in soft cotton terry cloth, but these by Wirarpa cost 50% less and feel of equal quality, and stay put better. Whilst these are undoubtedly 'big pants'; the high waist and good bottom coverage are just enough to give supreme comfort and secure fitting, no riding up, crack migration, or roll down at waist, but not too much fabric so that you feel like you are pulling them up to your arm pits! Big shout out of joy for a generous sized comfortable gusset. On sizing, I am a UK 12 (more like an UK11 is there was such a size!), so the chart shows at M for Medium, which is what I purchased. They absolutely fit fine, and I will wear them, but I feel that one size larger will give a more relaxed fit, so I have gone ahead and ordered another set in a L, for those days when I am hanging out at home in a sloppy tracksuit, and wish my pants to be a bit more sloppy too!
