I bought this because I forgot mine at home.Flew on a trip.Its my fav color folds up easily and I love the lil rubber stand that came with.

This walking cane is helpful. It can protect you against would-be muggers and give a little stability when gaining strength on the opposite side. I expected the x-shaped rubber base to be more sturdy, but it was slightly too bendy. Overall, this cane provides stability, but you must be careful if you are on the upper end of the posted weight limit. Standing still and applying a small amount of pressure, I could see the aluminum curved slightly. I can imagine what damage it would do to the walking cane if I were bumped. For now, I will keep this as an indoor cane.

This cane has an attractive design. (If you have to use a cane, it might as well be nice looking!) It also folds up for compact storage. It is also a very reasonable price. I've paid five times the cost of this one. Since I don't use a cane very often (only when my ankle is acting up), this is a perfect cane for me.

After a couple weeks of use the pole segment connections have become very loose. Whenever I use this cane, the pole segments separate when i lift the cane off the ground as i walk. I believe this issue is caused by the cheap internal cord quickly losing its elasticity and therefore, it is not keeping the pole segments connected tightly to each other.
