Recommended!
I was surprised how much I like this product. I have very long thick hair, and have had problems with solid shampoo in the past. It takes a second to get the lather going but I found once I had a good foam it worked well. It also lathered much better on the second shampooing (which is usually how it works when I double shampoo). My hair is soft, doesn't have a weird film or residue, and is no more frizzy than it usually is. I can't say it helped with frizz, but it didn't claim to do so either. The smell: A lot of reviews noted the scent of this product and I will admit it is quite strong. I would also place it far closer to "old lady smell" than I usually like my products to go. It isn't White Diamonds old lady, but it is mature smelling. With that being said, the lather smell isn't as strong and most of the pungency from the smellโข washes off when your rinse out the shampoo. (Bonus, the conditioner bar is far less aromatic.) in the end, my hair (thankfully) did not end up smelling like grandma.

Awesome for travel
Took this on a 5 week trip and it lasted the whole time using on hair, body and face. Love it and was gentle enough to use on my toddler, too. Would buy again for travel! Lathers very well and shampoos thoroughly. Doesnโt smell at all, seems like a clean product.

Left my hair clean and shiny, and didnโt strip the color
I love this brand, but this was the first shampoo and conditioner bar I had bought from them. I love bars because they make travel easy. What I loved about these bars: - The shampoo lathers very well. Whether you smooth it directly on your hair (my preference with the shampoo but not the conditioner), or lather it in your hand, you get good sudsing. I like that a lot. -The shampoo is said to be color-safe and I believe that it is. I use a deposi-only blue color in my hair which can wash out easily. There was no blue in they rinse water, which reassured me my color wasnโt being stripped. โUsage: I find that it's okay/desirravble to rub the shampoo bars straight into your hair for maximum lather. But with conditioner, if you have fine and thin hair, you're better off putting on your hands and then using a praying hands motion to apply. - My hair was soft, but not weighed down. In fact, my fine, thin hair had a lot of body. This is not easy! I loved this. -You really don't need a lot, which means this bar will last a while, making it good value for the money. I can't speak to the other claims of hair growth etc., but I can tell you the shampoo is very effective. I've shown it in the kitsch shampoo and conditioner travel case so you see how that works. All in all, I'd definitely buy again--although it may be a while since the bars last so long!

Feels good on my scalp.
Great bars. My scalp started breaking out with bumps and I couldn't explain why. Using these bars it stopped. Will continue using. I'd recommend buying the mesh bag as well, helps it suds up.

Great Shampoo! My favorite.
I have tried many different shampoos and even Hairstory for almost a year. And this shampoo bar is my favorite. I have been using it for over a year now and my hair is the most healthy itโs been for a long time. Iโve stopped loosing so much hair and my hair is healthier and thicker. To be fair this bar does not last as long as two bottle of shampoo like its claim. It does lather well and rinse well. It does sometimes leave a waxy film on my scalp but Iโll just use a clarifying shampoo once every three months or so and it takes care of the problem. Maybe it need to use conditioner on my scalp? Bottom line: I prefer this product over Hairstory even and itโs cheaper. It actually gets my hair clean and doesnโt leave it feeling gunky or gross. It also does not turn my grey hair yellow.

Great scent and does the job well
I love the Kitsch Rosemary & Biotin Shampoo Bar. It leaves my hair feeling really soft, and the scent is amazingโespecially in the shower. Itโs just a nice, simple product that does what itโs supposed to and makes my hair feel great afterward.

Great smell and lather, but pieces break off easily
Okay, the positives: -Absolutely love the smell! -It lathers up really really nicely. -I feel like it gets my hair clean well. Negatives, that I just can't get over: -I've only been using this for 2 weeks, and every other day a new little piece comes off of it! It crumbles a lot, doesn't stay together! So, while I love the smell, the lather, and the way it cleans my hair, it's really hard to use because it just breaks apart in your hand, (like, how are you supposed to use a little tiny piece of soap that's broken off?) ** So unless that issue gets fixed, like a new formula or something to help keep this bar of soap together, I probably wouldn't purchase again. But I'll enjoy whatever I have left of this one.

Kitsch 2-in-1 Shampoo & Body Wash Bar: Gentle, Eco-Friendly, and Perfect for Sensitive Skin
Kitsch 2-in-1 Ultra Sensitive Shampoo & Body Wash Bar (3.2 oz, Fragrance-Free): Gentle, Eco-Friendly, and Ideal for Sensitive Skin I recently tried the Kitsch 2-in-1 Ultra Sensitive Shampoo & Body Wash Bar (3.2 oz, Fragrance-Free) to simplify my shower routine and reduce plastic waste, and itโs been a fantastic addition, especially for my sensitive skin and scalp. This vegan, biodegradable bar is designed for those with allergies or sensitivities, and it delivers on its promise of gentle, effective cleansing with a few minor caveats. Ease of Use: 4.5/5 Using the Kitsch bar is straightforward. You wet your hair and skin, rub the bar between your hands to create a rich lather, or โpaintโ it directly onto your scalp and body, then massage and rinse. I found the lather surprisingly luxurious for a five-ingredient product, and it cleans thoroughly without needing much product. The barโs travel-friendly design is a big plusโitโs TSA-compliant, saving space in my gym bag or carry-on, as noted on Kitschโs site. My only gripe is that the bar can get slippery, so I recommend the Kitsch mesh soap saver bag (sold separately) to prevent dropping and extend its life, as suggested by reviewers. Performance and Effectiveness: 4.5/5 This bar excels at cleansing both hair and body without irritation. Formulated with just five ingredientsโSodium Cocoyl Isethionate, Sodium Methyl Cocoyl Taurate, Vegetable Glycerin, Hydrogenated Castor Oil, and Guar Hydroxypropyltrimonium Chlorideโitโs free of parabens, phthalates, silicones, sulfates, colorants, and fragrances, making it hypoallergenic and safe for sensitive scalps and skin. My dry, eczema-prone skin felt hydrated and smooth post-shower, and my scalp, which often itches with other shampoos, stayed calm and flake-free. Amazon reviewers with psoriasis or dermatitis rave about its soothing effects, with one saying, โNo itch, amazed and so happy!โ For hair, it left my fine, wavy strands clean and manageable, though I needed a separate conditioner for extra softness, as some users noted it can leave hair slightly dry without one. Sustainability and Packaging: 5/5 The eco-friendly aspect is a major draw. Each bar replaces two bottles of liquid shampoo or body wash, reducing plastic waste, and Kitschโs partnership with 4ocean removes the equivalent of one plastic bottle from oceans per bar purchased. The biodegradable bar comes in recyclable cardboard packaging, aligning with zero-waste goals. Reddit users appreciate its longevity, with one noting it lasts about three months with twice-weekly washes for medium-length hair. Iโve used mine for a month (washing 3โ4 times weekly), and itโs barely diminished, especially when stored dry in a mesh bag. Comfort and Sensitivity: 4/5 The fragrance-free formula is a godsend for allergy sufferers like me. Itโs truly unscented, unlike some โunscentedโ products with faint chemical odors, and it didnโt trigger my eczema or scalp sensitivity. Customers with sensitive skin, including a 66-year-old reviewer, praise its non-drying, residue-free finish. However, one SkinSafe user reported contact dermatitis despite its hypoallergenic claims, suggesting rare reactions are possible. I experienced no irritation, but those with severe sensitivities should patch-test first. The barโs texture can harden if exposed to water between uses, as a Reddit user noted, so proper storage is key to avoid cracking or snagging hair. Value for Money: 4.5/5 Priced around $14 (or $11.90 with a subscription), the bar is cost-effective, lasting 50โ100 washes, equivalent to 2โ3 bottles of liquid shampoo. With a 4.9-star average from 239 Kitsch reviews and strong Amazon feedback, users call it โa mustโ for sensitive skin and travel. Compared to Lush or Ethique bars, itโs competitively priced and performs similarly, though some Reddit users prefer Ethique for curly hair. The only drawback is that those with very dry hair may need a conditioner, adding to the cost. Final Verdict: The Kitsch 2-in-1 Ultra Sensitive Shampoo & Body Wash Bar is a stellar choice for eco-conscious folks with sensitive skin or scalps. Its gentle, five-ingredient formula cleans effectively, lathers richly, and leaves skin and hair feeling nourished without irritation. The eco-friendly packaging and travel convenience are huge wins, though proper storage and occasional conditioner use are needed for optimal results. I highly recommend it for anyone seeking a sustainable, gentle cleansing solution, especially for travel or sensitive skin types. Just store it dry and consider the mesh bag for longevity.

Does not work for me
I have used it a few times and yes it makes the hair feel soft as most shampoos but my hair gets greasy the next day. I have long thin hair and tried it for a few weeks now to see if the scalp needs to adjust but unfortunately no change. I liked the idea of a solid shampoo without all the nasty ingredients but sadly this one does not work for me at all.

Better buy here
Much easier to buy here than on official website, product is very good but logistics from the brand is weak. Amazon is the best way. Shampoo is good for highlights
