These are an improvement with there better grip sole and arch support. They were a bit too tight in the instep possibly due to the width of my foot. I did buy a pair for my friend who has a more narrow foot and she had the same experience, so they do run tight over the instep. I wore a pair of socks for a few days while wearing them and now they're an almost perfect fit barefoot. If I have swollen feet they flex with the inflammation. They are a bit scratchy at first but do breath better than many others. They are kind to my cork floors I would buy more if they were available at a reasonable price. The decorations on them are well made and lovely. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Comfortable and Cute *by G***T on Reviewed in the United States on April 11, 2019* I was delighted to find that this producer does not dye the fabric that is inside the slippers. I have a wide foot so the instep was tight the first night, but after wearing heavy cotton socks the first full day, they stretched out to fit well barefoot. The arch support is just right and welcome in any kind of slipper. The rubber grips keep me from slipping and don't harm my cork floor. The wool is a bit itchy at first but calms down after the initial wear. I recommend wear some light socks the first few days. I liked them so much I ordered a pair for one of my friends in a slightly different style. The red poppy flower is fun and makes me smile. What better way to start your day. ### ⭐⭐ Fit great but beads all came off w/in 3 days. *by H***C on Reviewed in the United States on February 19, 2018* I really wanted to love these. The instep has support, they do keep your feet warm and cool as needed. My feet do not sweat in these. They are adorable. However, upon the second time wearing them I kept finding these small black balls around...finally realized the center of the flower- beads were unraveling...rapidly on both shoes. I didn't the beads there for the shoe to function but, I did feel sort of sad that I paid full price for these slippers and they were coming apart. I could have my cats ingesting these tiny things - so the loose threads and beads had to be tossed. They are still quite cute w/o the beads and fit great.
