This really helps my husband foot fungus. Be careful though. The color is permanent if it gets on your clothing, carpet or towels.

Wish it didn’t stain everything purple but it does seem to work for cuts scrapes and open wound care. Just is very very annoying that it’s so strongly colored purple but I knew that going into it. Just a part of how this medicine is. Would recommend for patience that have tried everything and nothing seems to heal their open sores. I have lymphedema and get open sores and this is the first thing my doctor prescribed that actually seems to be helping. Although the prescription couldn’t be filled as this medication is so old most pharmacies do not carry it or even know what it is. Luckily Amazon has it for sale at a pretty reasonable price. Does not take much to receive its benefits and effects. A little goes a long way. I use a q tip to cover the infected areas.

I did not buy this for myself. I bought it for a friend in Ireland who is having trouble getting rid of her thrush. I used this stuff when my daughter had thrush as an infant and it works faster and better than anything else the Doctor gave us. The biggest complaint people have is that it stains. Use a q-tip and apply it directly to the area needed. We shall see if it helps her as fast as it did my baby. It is still in transit. I wish we could ship directly from amazon to Ireland.

I plan on updating my review after a little while to review how well it works for my tongue. I haven’t found any luck with my oral thrush, I’ve taken so many medications. I’ve tried lozenges, nystatin, and fluconazole in multiple strengths. Seems I may be resistant. I got this yesterday and now realize I use way too much. I thought I’d be fine without diluting it but I was wrong, dilute it 1:1 and a little goes a long way. I just redid my bathroom and saw some horrible pictures here of staining. I did get it on my white quarts countertop and wiping it away did nothing. I need to suggest NON-ACETONE NAIL POLISH REMOVER. It worked wonders and I watched it pick up the color and wiped away like nothing was ever there. It worked on my skin too as I poured it all over my hand by mistake. Update on the actually usage soon. Just wanted to share my nail polish remover find in case anyone struggled with staining. Edit: this is day four. I used it for three days and I’m letting the solution fade away. I experienced irritation with the solution. The surface of my tongue is achy painful to brush. I have yet to see any improvement but will update my overall star score when the color has gone and the verdict is made.

I add this to my conditioner which freshens up my purple highlights whenever I wash my hair. It works for covering my gray - but not to the same depth that bleached or blonde hair picks up the purple. Tub/shower, hands & skin WILL be temporarily stained purple, just pay attention & clean up ASAP with peroxide. More care should be taken with porous surfaces like wood or marble - you may not get stains out of them.
