First, the overall idea of of the ESD work mat is great. And I was quite hopeful that the addition of the magnetic area at the top would be great.Which is the initial design flaw - the magnetic material on the back is positioned so the the bottom row of small compartment trays only has magnet on the top half of the trays. If you examine the back, you can see the area intended to hold the magnet material. The area is sized correctly, but the material is smaller than the area. On mine the magnetic 'sticker' was 6mm shorter and 3mm thinner than the area is was in. It also was placed so that it wasn't centered or straight. The magnetic material's stiffness also makes this less 'portable' as it takes a while for it to lay flat - even with the reverse rolling technique.Next, At this price point, which is higher than the competition, I would have expected some tool holding areas. Whether as bit holding holes along the top edge or just a longer side tray to prevent tool rolling.While grounding straps are included, there is no standard attachment point and no Ground Plug or similar solution included.As for the tools, the extra spudgers and pry tools are always handy but the quality of these is on the lower 'wish toolkit' end of the spectrum.Mine did not come with the four drivers shown on the product page - instead it had three very cheap and almost useless ones that look like the ones one the page. The small hard plastic handles provide no grip at all. I'm not color blind at all, but it's very difficult to tell the red handle from the orange one in all but the best lighting. Also, were talking small 8cm long tools with a pentalobe vs a philips end. It makes it very difficult to reach for the right tool.The blue pentalobe driver in the picture was not in my set, instead an 'upgraded' driver with swivel top was included instead. It's labeled as 1.2 x 30mm. Sadly the shaft flares out above the tip to a diameter of 2.9mm, so the label is somewhat inaccurate. At least this driver, while still a hard plastic handle as some light ribbing that gives a bit better grip over the other three.I only received one pair of tweezers, the angled end ones were not included in my set. They are pretty standard ESD-safe tweezers at the lower end of the quality spectrum.Overall, as I mentioned above, the included tools are nothing to get excited about. Moreover, it's unlikely anyone shopping for an ESD mat would find these tool insufficient for the job. The lack of variety and the poor quality of the drivers make their inclusion an overall negative for me.
