I have a 17lb Westie and these leather toys are her favorite chew toy. She does rip them apart pretty fast but she gets a lot of chewing before we have to throw it out. She does not seem to swallow much if anything. I see little pieces around which I throw in the trash. We do always monitor her when she is chewing on it. I think a bigger dog or one who eats toys this might not be great for. All dogs are different, and it works for her.

Unfortunately, this was not a very durable dog toy and our border collie quickly destroyed it. She had fun with it for the short time that it lasted.

The only reason I’m not giving the toy 5 stars is because I wish that they didn’t stuff the toys.My dog is only 20 lbs but he loves to chew. The leather holds up well but once he gets to the stuffing he goes crazy and intentionally tears the toy apart trying to get the stuffing out.I’ve bought other leather toys that are thicker leather with nothing inside and they have held up better.All in all though it’s a great toy. The leather holds up well and my dogs loves it. I’ve bought a few different versions/animals and all seem to be the same great quality

This lasted about 25 minutes with our puppy. He had it apart and partially eaten. It’s definitely not for a dog that’s a chewer and thank god the ingredients didn’t make him sick!

My husky is a tough chewer so I am used to her destroying toys quick but this fox only lasted a few hours

My 10 lb dachshund is a destroying machine so I am always searching for different sizes, materials, weights, sounds and textures to keep her play time exciting. I thought she would have this toy demolished in a day but it is going on 2 weeks and the toy looks great and my dog just loves it. Excellent purchase!

as a person who Foster's lots of dogs each year ,these toys by ethical pets always prove to be a favorite of many of the dogs I try and help they last much longer then others and have no stuffing that other toys have that end up everywhere ,I highly recommend them to you and my forever families that adopt a dog from us ❤️.

Took me longer to clear up the resulting debris than it took my Collie to chew it to bits.

My dog is a small dog missing teeth so I don’t know how these would hold up with a stronger beed. That being said they are the only toys that last more then a few days in this house. I took off a star as I wish they had no stuffing
