Certainly works, immediate smell of ozone when powering on. Use responsibly, I left it running in my car for 15 minutes as Google suggested and my car was unusable for 3 days til the ozone faded... But the smells I were combatting have been removed nicely, for this power I think 5-10 minutes tops. Also used it in my wardrobe to remove some musty smell & airing cupboard to remove some damp smell post-leak, now all smell very neutral. So, useful purchase that did the job I wanted (car smell) perfectly and I've found a handful of uses since.

Worked really well in eliminating a damp odour from an old car.

As advertised. Even removed the smell left by a diesel spill on an old carpet in my shed.

Worked once then broke. Poor item. Do not buy.

Did a cracking job at halting the mold in our Fiat Panda and our Rover 45. Happy to have this equipment in my vehicle detailing arsenal incase its ever needed again. Minus 1 star because it did absolutely nothing to remove any intensity of the weird smell in our Rover.

Used this to rid my new to me used car of smoke smell. Ran for about 15 mins utes with the car fans on. Great product.

Excellent. Did the job, after fire in the house no smoke smell anymore. Highly recommend.

Did not make any difference to the musty smell.
