Three Swedish Mountain Men

Oh my gosh, I loved it! I pulled this book from my TBR pile because I needed something light and fun, and with this title I figured it would be a quick smutty read. Oh no! It is steamy, extra spicy, that is true, but it is not a quick or typical read. I loved the characters, and this book took me two days to get through (savor, devour, what have you). Its told from multiple perspectives, mostly our main lady Daisy, but the guys’ perspectives are so good and really contribute to the story and to the development of their relationship. All the characters have a rich backstory, and connected history, and I love it! We’ve got all the best tropes – found family, secret identities, stuck together by snowstorm, one bed (one sleeping bag), second-chance-love, second-chance-family. I loved it so much! This book was exactly what I needed! It made me laugh out loud, it made me blush, I felt wrapped up in the best way. I can’t wait to read more from Lily Gold!

Are you ready to be snowed in with three hot and spicy, Swedish, mountain living men? It's got some romcom vibes with spice, a bit of drama, and a whole lot of love! We get a variety of personalities, some really good lines, and a decent plot. There are a few character issues and some plot areas that needed to be cleaned up/expanded (I just needed a bit more), but if you're looking for a solid read that will give you some warm feelings, definitely pick this one up! If you suspend reality a bit on certain areas, this is a fun read that also deals some tough topics. I enjoyed the book overall, and plan to recommend it to fellow why choose lovers (especially those that like a contemporary aspect!

It’s a solid read and I liked it. I like that the descriptions of the scenery, the characters are developed and the story line fits. But i did start to feel like there are some loose ends, things that don’t get resolved and sort of forgotten in the background. I really want her to tackle some of these things in her upcoming books. Daisy has secrets, we really are left in the dark until the very end and then only have some info in the beginning about what that happened outside of the time line. The guys are great but I feel like we don’t spend as much time with them. We get some bread crumb information but not alot. Her grumpy character, as there is always one in her books never actually apologizes for being a j*rk. He kind of keeps being a silent grizzly despite not actually resolving his anger problems. They just sleep together and all is forgiven. There is also not alot of exploration about how these r*verse h*rems came to be, it’s always roommates who happen to have done this in the past, nothing about reawakening with some new ideas on relationships or love. And why are the family’s so bad in each book? Is it just so they don’t have to write about them? I need more and I think this author could it make happen.

Daisy's world is crashing around her so she does the only thing she can think of and runs away from everything. She packs a bag and takes a break from her life and ends up in Sweden. When she swerves to avoid a moose in the road she crashes her car. Cole and Eli are in their car behind her when she crashes and pull her from her car. Eli is nice and calming but Cole is upset because she almost ran the moose over. They end up taking her home with them because a storm is coming and they don't want to get stranded in town. When they arrive home Daisy gets introduce to Riven the other men they live with and who doesn't look happy that she's there. However when he learns of her accident the doctor in him kicks in and he starts examining her. Its not long before the guys realize that Daisy has some secrets that she is keeping from them. They try to slowly get her to tell them about herself and she does let some things slip but not enough for them to know much of anything. Soon things starts steaming of between them and they don't care what she is keeping from them. However when someone from her past shows up looking for her it does cause some problems between them. Will what she has been keep secret end things between them? Can Daisy ever get her life back? Will the four of them have a future together? This is an amazing story that will captivate you from beginning to end. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover. I got turned on to this author via Faking with Benefits, which is still my favorite of Lily Gold's books. Her RH stories are wonderful explorations into healthy poly relationships, full of emotional bonding that validates her characters' sexual chemistry. This particular story leans sliiiightly to the smutty side (because Daisy falls into sex with these guys rather quickly imho, plus frank descriptions of intimacy) but isn't crass (plenty of smexy times happen off screen, too, which shows the author understands that we don't need to see everything always). I was disappointed that a certain confrontation I had counted on seeing never actually happened, and there were a few quirky things in the text that struck me wrong (nothing worth pointing out in case YOU miss them) which is why I knocked off a star. Plus the fact that the book cover, title, and marketing for this book make it seem smuttier than it actually is - there's substance to the story, and it's worth reading the whole thing! Definitely a higher grade of contemporary romance, and not your typical KU self-published one-handed reading.

Uma leitura rápida, com personagens interessantes, segredos, dramas, cabana isolada, neve e muuuito hot🥵. Uma protagonista que está fugindo pras montanhas depois de dar tudo errado na sua vida. Daisy é linda, inteligente, corajosa, segura e sem frescura. Três homens com personalidades diferentes mas que nao poderiam ser mais perfeitos pra ela. Aos poucos ela vai entrando no coração de cada um deles e se abrindo pra novos sentimentos também. Ri, surtei, criei teorias e me emocionei do início ao fim. Não consegui largar. Tem capítulo extra de todos os livros da Lily no seu site e já corrobora pegar o desse. Amando os clichês da autora e ansiosa pra ler mais.

This book was unexpected. I will be there first to say that I’m guilty of judging a book by its cover and normally I wouldn’t have grabbed this book. Thanks to all my fellow Bookstagrammers I thought I’d give this one a try and I wasn’t disappointed. It was so good!!! I loved all the characters, the plot, the romance…. Everything! It was such an easy read and hooked me from page one! Now I’m gonna read all the rest of Lilys books!!!

Okay, so I’ve just finished reading Lily Golds books and it’s official. I’m OBSESSED!! She is a phenomenal author and her books are swoon worthy. This book does touch on some more sensitive topics so just make sure you check trigger and content warnings but overall this book is just hilarious and adorable. I love all the characters and I just wish I was a character written by Lily gold 😂. So this book follows daisy as her life gets flipped upside, resulting in her relocating her entire life to get away. She moves as far north as she can get and her plan seemed great. Until she ends up crashing her car and getting stuck in the start of a storm. Luckily though two gorgeous men noticed her on the side of the road and help her out of the car. Head is still spinning from the crash, and totally unaware of what to do next until one of the guys offers her to stay with them until the storm passes. Turns out the two guys live together in an isolated cabin in the woods with a third, handsomely gorgeous man. While trying to figure out what to do next, all four of them end up stuck in the cabin for quite some time, just waiting for the storm to pass. In that time though daisy seems to get to know the guys a little more and realises they’re actually really nice men. So what happens when things start to heat up between the four of them? And what happens when secrets are found out? When drama starts to appear, can they move forward and accept what’s going on or go running again? Will the guys manage to fall for daisy? Or will all the lies and secrets keep them apart? And can daisy find it on her to fall in love and accept these guys? These guys have kept themselves isolated and away from relationships for the past five years after a horrible break up. So will having daisy around get in the way of their space or will it help them grow and learn to open up again? And what happens when the past comes back? Read to find out all the ups and downs that goes on. This was an incredible book and I love how head strong the female character is and how hilarious, affectionate and protective the guys are. I just wanna run away in my own isolated cabin now 😂. I’m so sad to have finished these books and can’t wait to see what Lily Gold comes out with next.

I liked the book so much I read it in a night. It was an easy read, a perfect book for beginner stage in the reverse harem world. I liked the guys, I liked the girl. My only problem (as I am a Swede) was the names. It is not many guys that have names like Cole or Riven in Sweden and that was the only downside with the book. Looking forward to read more from the authour.

I am still thrilled with this book. I have been a fan of Lily for a couple of years now but I just recently read this one and I have to say that is my number one favorite book of her. I really recommend it to all, the storyline is amazing, the characters are well described and the interactions between the four of them is out of this world. (A lot of spice too, so take that under consideration. If you are looking for a conventional romance this is not your book. This book is awesome, but it also touches some topics like polygamy, cheating, a sexual crime. ) Lily is a mastermind and I adore her books and I need to say that I am team Cole, even when I love all the characters, I need to say that Cole is my favorite grumpy lover (but on the inside is a teddy bear who wouldn’t hurt a fly).
