This WiFi dongle adapter does exactly what it advertises, at least for the Android Auto mode that I am using it for in my 2021 4-Runner to eliminate the hard wired connection that is normally required.I follwed the simple (but very small print) instructions and my car system recognized it immediately and also showed up on my phone. Paired my phone with its Bluetooth name and it connected and worked right away just as my wired connection did.Now I can connect my phone to the car's fast charging port instead of the slower charge rate data port that I was required to use to connect to the car system's Android Auto mode or use no cable when the phone is charged.Very plug and play simple. Worked great and I am very pleased, so far.

I'd rate it less than 5 stars, but it's great for the price. Been using this for about 2 months now, and it works well. Re-connection is seamless, and your device stays connected regardless of your cellular reception. One issue I have noticed is that if my mobile is too close to the adapter, I get disturbance in music streaming. Other than that, no issues.

Worked fine for the first month till the return window closed then it stopped working. Cannot use it at all now.

There isn't anything I dislike, It was a little difficult to set up Android Auto but it was worth it.

This works great in our 2023 Genesis G70 for Apple CarPlay. We're not Android users, so I have nothing to add for compatibility there.My biggest single complaint is the flashing green light on the dongle when connected and paired with. It's obnoxiously bright at night and there's no way to disable the light. I had to cover it in black electrical tape. That's bad. Really bad.

Work amazing good

This dongle is small enough to be out of the way, and connects immediately upon staring my car (23 Genesis G70). All functions seem to work as well as they did with the cable, but without the messy look.

Easy plug and play instructions, compact and doesn't attract attention. Auto connection can take a few moments but hasn't dropped out once connected. Can be unplugged and plugged back in without needing to repair

Really easy to get going when new out of the box. Offers a stable connection. I have a Samsung Galaxy S22+ and was connected to Android Auto in my Cerato GT within 30 secs. After initial setup, as soon as I start the car, wireless Android Auto becomes functional in an instant. Now I can leave the phone either in my pocket or place it on the wireless charger inside the vehicle without the need to insert/remove any cable. Happy I bought this.

Generally works well. Takes a short while to kick in and bring up Carplay, and had 1 episode where it had to be unplugged and replugged to get it to work, but otherwise has been working flawlessly.Recommended, especially for the price.
