My cat completely ignores the little ball, no matter how much I play with it to entice her or how much catnip I sprinkle on it. I find that valuable, because it tells me not to waste money on anymore ball-in-track toys. It's just not her thing. But she loves, loves, LOVES the packed cardboard scratcher in the middle. This cheap little toy was the perfect way to discover whether my cat was going to enjoy this type of scratcher BEFORE I splashed out on a big expensive piece of "cat furniture" made from the same kind of material. Since she was going at this one every day, I felt confident buying the more expensive piece, and sure enough, she loves that too. I think this toy is a really easy way to find out if A. your cat is going to like ball-in-track toys and B. your cat is going to like pressed cardboard scratchers. You get two pieces of feedback with one inexpensive toy, and that can guide your future purchases (especially for a new cat) to not be a waste of her time and your floor space and money. I knocked a star off because of the little rubber feet. Don't use them; they don't adhere with anything, they just get stuck in some holes, so they're not safe to use on a cat toy. Kitty can get them out easily and choke on them. They're also not needed to keep the toy in place. The toy should either come with the feet already adhered in place tightly and safely, or not included at all.

i have four cats and they are obsessed with this. i like that you can buy replacement middle pieces so its not a one time use. my cats will run to use this instead of my furniture. i like that the cat nip is optional and not in the cardboard. they love the ball and great that it doesn’t come out

My cats absolutely love this thing. I really didn't think it'd be that much of a big deal since it's "just" a circle with a scratch pad, but no. They REALLY get into it, it's super cute, and burns off a lot of energy. Only tough part is that they get so excited and forceful, the ball in the track tends to end up yanked outside of the track and then off to who-knows-where until i stumble across it. Be prepared to get extra balls as they are sized to move fast, they aren't EASILY removed but with cats that get excited about it, they can easily get it out. The scratchers are unexpectedly great as well, and easily cleaned out if i dump catnip on the thing which I do frequently. It seems a bit expensive for some plastic but it's well put together, the inserts fit snugly but not so snug you won't break the tabs reinstalling new ones, and the fun they have with it means it pays for itself nearly instantly.

my maine coon played with this from day one and still uses it daily 8 month on, saves the furniture from scratching as well was recommended on a youtube video and the reviewer was 100% correct, havent had to replace the scratch pad yet its well used

Very steady if put directly on a carpet. I did not assemble this toy to my floor. On a carpet is ok to use and this toy doesn’t move on a carpet. Scratcher in a middle - perfect , it is from carton paper which is good to scratch and cats usually loves cardboard and carton paper . My cat loves to play with a boll . Perfect toy for a small cat, do not need to assemble . Good price and fast delivery. Feel Happy !
