Picked this up for my wife because she mentioned wanting a new gloss—and let’s just say, "Bangin Bare" lives up to the name. The color looks amazing on her, super flattering with no weird yellow tint, and the glossy finish? Chef’s kiss. I caught her checking herself out in the mirror more than once, so I’d say it’s a win. Now, the tingle effect... she described it as “a spicy little surprise” and then “why are my lips on fire?”—so it’s definitely got some kick. Depending on your tolerance, it’s either a fun zing or a full-on lip boxing match. She adjusted after the first couple uses and now kind of enjoys the "wake-up slap." Plumping effect is there, but don’t expect instant duck lips. I really love this lip plumper. It's one of those plumpers that has that burny capsaicin feel that I like in a lip plumper. My original go to was the Two Faced Lip Injection and this feels quite comparable. My lips also look quite glassy and feel hydrated. I just love how it feels. It also doesn't feel sticky. And there is noticeable plumping. I have two of these now. The Lilac on Lock and Onyxpected. Love them both.

I decided to try this gloss because after a recent trip to Sephora the employee I questioned about the "best lip plumper they have" recommend this brand to me (which they do not sell). She said this brand was the absolute best she has ever tried, and it's only a quarter of the cost of the ones they sell at Sephora, so I bought it. I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT AT ALL!!!! I'm a girl who LOVES lip plumpers and have tried many different brands over the years, and this one is the absolute worst. I don't mind a little burning or tingling in my plumper, I actually kinda like it because I know it's working. This product BURNS like FIRE!!! It even made my eyes watery, and tastes horrible. After removing it, I could still feel the burning feeling for at least 15 minutes. I don't recommend this particular gloss from this brand, but I am a fan of their other lip glosses.

I love this stuff. If you want to try this without color this is the one. It’s not sticky at all and the shine is perfect. You can definitely feel the plumping sensation and that’s what I loved about it. I would buy a hundred of these no joke just so I would never run out lol it doesn’t smell bad and it’s just nice.

Pro: it’s more effective as a plumping gloss than any I’ve encountered. Noticeable and fast. Con: my lips were fine, it just stung. I was excited for the ginger base because I eat ginger all the time. But simply from the gloss I swallowed through drinking, my tongue touching inside edge of lips, etc, I got chemical burns throughout my mouth, on my tongue, my gums, and down my throat. I lost entire layers of skin on the inside of my cheeks, and had trouble talking. That was from one application and a touch up a couple hours later! I stopped everything else and waited five days for my mouth to heal, to make sure it wasn’t something else. I tried again this morning with a light coat, yes, and it’s absolutely the gloss. My throat hurts and my tongue is raw nine hours later. I’m not allergic to anything, and regularly consume very spicy foods including ginger. This is just way too strong. If you have any sensitivity, or even (like me) if you don’t — beware. I would not recommend this.
