Salomon Unisex-Adult Xa Forces Mid En Military and Tactical Boot

I work as a park ranger and solid footwear is a must for me. These shoes are incredibly comfortable, durable, and professional looking. My first pair lasted 2 years of daily use and I only needed to replace them because the sole wore flat. I purchased the non-goretex model and would generally recommend that due to increased breathability and lifespan. In my experience, the goretex lining is one of the first things to fail in shoes and it generally doesn't breathe that well.The shoes have a pretty traditional fit so I would not recommend them if you have super wide feet, but they fit me very well. They are pretty true to size, but I would recommend sizing up 1/2 for good measure. Overall the Salomon XA Forces are expensive, but well worth the money over cheaper alternatives.

I used to wear to wear 5.11 ATAC shields but will never wear another boot again. These make the 5.11s feel like you’re wearing cinder blocks on your feet. I have multiple pairs of Forces. They are lightweight, comfortable, durable, and as small as it is the speed laces are a great convenience. They are great for duty, hiking, and casual wear.

The shoes came promptly and as promised. I had the last version of this shoe, and they have not changed much, and nor do they need to. The subtle changes are fine by me. The most important thing is comfort and performance, and these shoes deliver on both.They are a serious shoe for those who take their foot attire seriously... like me. They fit right out of the box and look like they need very little break-in time. I loved my old ones, and these I love just a little more. They seem to cradle my foot and support every step like a high quality running shoe. And to top it off, they are waterproof. Can't say enough good things about this shoe.

The boots are durable and comfortable right out of the box. Extremely durable. I love the quick lace system. They are slightly on the heavy side but that’s part of the durability. The only issue I’ve had is that the soles are worn out and need to be replaced which is not an option with Salomon. But to be fair I walk a lot of miles so they may last longer for normal use.

Very sturdy boots that are stay dry in snow, water, mud, etc. The quick laces they use are really nice, but make sure you know how to secure the laces once tight!(tuck them in tongue, shown in picture) Very aggressive grip works well on slippery surfaces, however still exercise caution!Fit is as described, they appear thinner than traditional boots my husband owns, but this is not a factor for him.The comfort is great, even after long periods of use!

Very well made tactical and walking boot. These boots offer good heel and arch support. This is a solid shoe and will need breaking in. I like the tuck under lace system as well. I also gave a pair of these to my brother and he loves them. The only complaint for me is that they don't offer them in an extra wide size. Still giving five stars because the size of my foot is not indicative of the quality. If you are listening Salamon please offer a size wide in the future.

These literally may be the most comfortable boots I've ever worn on my feet. Bought in Black, and was so pleased I order Ranger Green as well. I walk ALOT for work and I've never had an issue at the end of my shift. They feel like tennis shoes to me, comfort wise. I wish they made these in a composite toe as well for power plant work as I'd buy them too. Will definitely order again

Well made boots. Love Salomon products. I needed something more for work and these are the answer. Well made, comfortable and secure. I couldn’t ask for better.

Je viens de recevoir la commande et j'ai reçu la version qui n'est pas GTX contrairement à ce qu'ils disent dans la description. Donc faites attention!! Erreur ou pas....

Wirklich ein top Wander/Outdoor Schuh, habe vor dem Kauf extra meine Füße gemessen und die exakte Schuhgröße errechnet und bin auf 43 1/3 gekommen, Salomon bietet genau diese Größe an und der Schuh sitzt wie angegossen, nichts drückt oder reibt, auch bei sehr langen Touren und das ab dem ersten Kilometer, ein Einlaufen war absolut nicht nötig. Der Schuh bietet einen sehr guten und sicheren Halt und ist dazu noch ziemlich leicht, die "EN" Variante bietet zusätzlich noch eine durchtrittsichere Sohle, wer etwas mehr halt an den Knöcheln bevorzugt sollte dennoch eines der höheren Modelle in Betracht ziehen. War anfangs noch etwas skeptisch was das Quicklace System angeht, aber inzwischen bin ich begeistert davon. Also der Schuh überzeugt auf ganzer Linie, absolute Kaufempfehlung
