This is one of those rare supplements that actually does what it says it is supposed to do, and does it very well. If used correctly this supplement can shorten the duration of an cold / flu and can prevent them from happening in the first place. I can say from years of using this product that it does both. I am naturally a skeptic when it comes to supplements. About 8 years ago I had a flu and happened to have a bottle of Wellness Formula that I had not tried. On the third day of the flu I took a few of these and noticed a dramatic drop in the symptoms of the flu. Since then I said to myself there must be something to it. I have since been taking this as directed at the first sign of symptoms. I also take a few in the winter time to prevent colds and flu. Due to this supplement and a few other changes in my life, I have only been sick 2 or 3 times in the last 8 years. The list of ingredients in this product is amazingly long. Sometimes I will look at the ingredients of a supplement and try to piece together my own formula, but with this supplement because of the length and complexity of the ingredients, that is simply not feasible. I choose to take the tablet form as I find it to be more effective. Because this formula has such a high amount of Vitamin C (1,290 mg) I will actually choose to buy a bottle of this instead of regular vitamin C. That way I get the Vitamin C I need along with all the other ingredients that help boost the immune system.
