ArusWomen's Short Kimono Lightweight Bathrobe Turkish Cotton Terry Cloth Robe

This robe is very nice. I've had it for about 2 years. It's very large on me, but that's not a bad thing because I was actually wanting a large robe. It's very absorbent, (and warm) so a towel isn't even needed when stepping out of the shower. I'm about 120 lbs and 5' 4" and this robe comes to my knees (not above) when worn. It stays closed when tied and I could probably fit 2 or 3 of my arms into the arms of the robe. The pockets are nice and deep if you need to put something like a hairbrush in them while getting ready. Someone about my stature would be completely covered so modesty isn't an issue if you find yourself needing to throw this on to answer the door. The cloth isn't particularly soft, but it's not rough on my skin either. Fabric softener does make it softer. The robe itself doesn't have any scent (I've seen reviews on similar items where people complain that the item had a musty smell) but like all terry cloth, it can start to stink after it's been used too long. I usually bleach my towels for that reason. I was afraid to bleach this because it's pink (I initially wanted a white robe, but they were sold out at the time), but after putting it off for quite a few washes, I finally just took a chance and put about 1/4 cup to 1/2 cup of bleach in with it. It came out fine (and fresh!) so the colorfastness is very good undoubtedly. *edit* After submitting this review, I looked again at the product description and saw that this is supposedly a lightweight robe. I wouldn't call it lightweight. It's not so thick that it feels like it will smother you, but it's not my definition of lightweight. In the winter time, it's perfect, in the summer, you may not want to lounge around all day in it, you would probably start to feel hot.

I read reviews before I buy. Starting with one star and moving up, I want to hear the ugly ones first. They can point out deficiencies fairly clearly. Reading reviews is kind of tricky, though. If the negative reviews are few, then I chalk it up to cranky customers or one-off experiences. Good reviews can also be discounted. Because people want to like the products they choose to buy they tend to laud rather than admit to mistaken judgment.I got the distinct impression that the fabric in this robe was scratchy and cheap. It was compared pretty unfavorably to the plush robes and I've had scratchy cheap towels so I could could clearly imagine what this robe felt like.We have a sauna in the house which I use quite a bit. After I finish and take my shower, I need to wear a robe while I cool down because I still sweat for a while. The robe I've had for years is one of those long, plush hooded things that is probably described as luxurious. And it is except that it is too heavy and hot for me just out of the sauna trying to cool down. I needed something lighter and shorter. This robe didn't sound so great, but the price was unbeatable so I thought I'd give it a go. It arrived two days later and it is quite perfect. The fabric is perfectly fine, not thin or scratchy. The garment is sewn well and it fits just great. I'd say I got lucky. I totally didn't expect a robe like this for $26. It's a perfect spa robe.

I bought a small/medium in pink in this robe. I washed it (with a few towels) before wearing and came out soft and neat. It shed fibers as all new, unwashed terry does. I am 5' tall about 120lb and it fits comfortably around and is at mid calf length. It is cozy warm without overheating like synthetic fabric. For the money, it is a nice every day robe. I'd buy another.

I can't live without a high-quality terry bathrobe. I needed to replace my 3-year-old robe which had been terrific. However, the label was gone and I couldn't recall the maker. I purchased a similar-looking terry bathrobe by Ralph Lauren at Bloomingdales 6 weeks ago. I thought - well, it's RL and it's Bloomingdales, it's expensive, but must be great, right? WRONG! It promised to get softer with each washing but it actually got heavier, harder, scratchier, and more irritating to my skin - I grew to hate it. I knew I couldn't return and I just had to get rid of it. I tried an UGG, and some other expensive brands at the shops, but none was satisfactory. I found this on Amazon and read about the loops, the Turkish towel-like feel, etc. It was way less $$$ than most others and I thought, well, I can return if it's crap. So now I have washed it twice and can say it is the most comfortable, best-fitting, best-quality lightweight terry bathrobe I've ever had - without it being too long and overwhelming. It is so soft and absorbent that it's like a big hug after a bath or shower. I ordered the larger one and maybe could do with the smaller but I'm super happy with it. Big thanks to this company for this superior terry bathrobe!

I bought this robe in September to take with me on a two-day hot springs retreat in early October 2022. I love the color (I purchased pink) and the robe was perfect for the two days at the hot springs. It was a warm weekend and the lightweight robe was sufficient. I am so glad I had it! But, since then, (it is now January 2023), it looks like I've had it for years and isn't the same robe anymore. Between the cats and my ring etc catching on it and snagging it, it's a mess. Well, basically from the waist up... it"s shredded. haha. The bottom part still looks okay. I am 5'1" and it (S/M) hits halfway between my knee and ankle, which is fine but it took getting used to as my old robe was longer. I love the big pockets and the sleeves are long enough for my long monkey arms. It's nice that they can be easily rolled up to get them out of the way. I don't like that it doesn't wrap around my middle very well. I weigh 117 and have about a 34" hip, so I'm not that big. It's actually fine when I'm standing up, but I notice a gap towards the bottom when I sit down which is kind of annoying. I have to adjust to keep my legs covered. It might just be the way I wrap and tie it... I don't know. I think maybe a larger size would have been better (maybe it shrunk a bit in the wash?). Anyway, I like the robe but because it so easily snags, I don't know if I'd buy it again. Not sure what would be a better choice though - my ring and the cats snag a lot of my clothing. The price was okay and it did work quite well for what I purchased it for. The pink color is the best though!

This is the softest bathrobe I have ever owned.I just love it!The perfect length, and not too heavy.It is just comfy cozy and soft!The bathrobe belt is the perfect length, not too long, not too short.And it is flat, with seams sewn sew it does not twist or bunch up like a hollow belt does.The pockets are large enough and deep enough, but not too large and floppy that things would fall out.I am very over the moon satisfied with this bathrobe!

Exactly what I was looking for. This is a robe that is made of Terry cloth material which means you are essentially wearing a towel. I’m writing this review specifically because a lot of people complain about the fabric and also that it isn’t soft. I know some colours are made of different materials but the grey is extremely soft. Good value.

Farbe ist wie auf dem Bild. Transportverpakung schützte Produkt ausreichend gut vor Schäden.Der Bademantel flust einbiscchen, ist nach einmal Waschen aber wieder weg. Hat KEINEN starken eigen Geruch.Ich bin 1,63 m habe S/M bestellt. Mir reichte er bis kurz übers Knie.Nach drei Wochen Dauernutzung: Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist Super! Er ist Kuschelig warm.
