Less thank a month and lots of rust even though we rinse and dry after every use. Disappointed in that. As an FYI to parents, it is not a complete flotation device, but rather a buoyancy assist. My 8 year old was testing it and she will still go slightly under water if keeping still. No biggie in that regard or knock on quality, just good to know. It still helps to float.
