You can ride on them with a sharpie to Mark what's on them with ease. And for the most part, they're good 95% of the time, but there's generally about a 5% failure rate with some of them or less. I hate it when that happens because sometimes you get down to the end of what you're recording and even though you still have 5 minutes, 10 minutes or even 15 minutes left on the DVD. Just as you stop the recording and say hey I got to stop cuz I'm running out of footage and you go to finalize it. It goes error with DVD. Nothing on the disc. No DVD in the tray doesn't happen that often but it does and it's going to be annoying when that happens because if you've been recording something for hours and then the disc fails as you're finalizing it or it says there's nothing on the disc. It's a disk grade error. Nine times out of 10. Otherwise these are still pretty good. I've been buying them for years.
