Great quality, super light, easy to hold
I just love this camera. For a while I have been using a Sony A7R. I got great images, but I started to have problems with weight due to arthritis in my wrist. I decided to step down a level of sensor size, to get a weight low enough that I would never hesitate to bring it with me. I also initially bought the XT5, but found that it was significantly heavier than the XT50, so I returned that one. The XT50 is a surprisingly good fit to my hands, despite me having really big hands. The raise thumb holder gives me leverage to hold the camera easily. So far, I've gotten great images, probably slightly less great than the Sony Full Frame, but close enough that it is easily worth the trade. I was also initially worried that the small joystick would be limiting, but I've found it works very well. I wish the XT50 was weather sealed, but I'm OK to give that up for the weight. The controls are really well-laid out (my first time with a Fuji, so maybe they are all good in this way). It's nice to have a way to rate my pics in camera (the Sony has that, but I didn't expect it in this Fuji). I'm happy with this lens, which was a great deal if bought with the body -- it is likely not as good as the Pro equivalent, but the Pro just adds too much weight. All in all, I'm thrilled. Back to having my camera with me all the time.

Awesome camera. Useful Tip: The screensavers for the Fuji x-T30 II work on this camera also.
I bought iDaPro screensavers for my Fuji T-30 II and installed one. I watched the video and was careful in placing it exactly where it should go on the screen. I was especially careful not to get any part of my fingers on the side that fixes to the LCD screen. Worked fine. Today I got my Fuji X-T50 and searched for screensavers to find none on Amazon that specifically called out compatibility. But, since I had two left, I used one of these iDaPro’s on the T50 and it fit! I just think manufactures have not gotten to change their Amazon descriptions concerning compatibilities to include the T50 in them. This might save you much time searching for the right screensaver for your T50. This is my forth Fuji X camera and the more I use them the better I like what they can do. I started with the X100F and now have the X-T5, T30 II and now the new X-T50. They have so much customization. BUT, if you’re just starting out just set it on Auto and shoot away. Later you can get in to the menus and customizations to enjoy these cameras even more.

Very good light weight camera
Purchased this camera to replace my older Canon EOS T6s, primarily for lower weight and higher resolution. It met my expectations and exceeded in few other features. The only disadvantage is shorter battery life. However, generic batteries for this camera are light and very cheap, so it is not causing a problem. Soon I will be using an adaptor to utilize my older Tamron lenses that I purchased some time ago with Canon mount. So far, so good!

Don't Buy From This Seller (Haven't Received FULL Refund)
I informed the Amazon support team that the camera I received was defective. During my testing, the shutter exhibited unusual behavior multiple times, moving erratically up and down. While turning the camera off temporarily mitigated the issue, the problem reoccurred several times. Additionally, the camera became unusually warm during use. Beyond these defects, the look and tactile quality of the product did not meet the expectations set by its description, leading me to request a return and full refund rather than an exchange. This situation breaches Amazon's guarantee return policy, which ensures customers are not penalized for receiving defective items. Despite returning the camera in all its original packaging, the seller has refused to comply with both Amazon’s return policies and multiple requests from support team members to issue a full refund and not deduct an absurd "20% restocking fee." Withholding my refund in this way is not only unacceptable but also a parasitic practice that takes advantage of consumers.

Awesome but Firmware and App Trouble
The camera is fantastic and delivers superb image quality. Even while I’m still learning, it consistently produces great photos. That said, a few issues have made the experience somewhat frustrating. Updating to the latest firmware has been difficult because the camera does not seem to recognize the update and shows an error during the process. The mobile app also does not appear to work with the latest iOS version, at least on my phone. It will not connect via Bluetooth, supposedly because I did not grant permission, yet no permission prompt ever appeared. For now, I will wait until a new firmware version is released and then try updating to that one. From a hardware perspective, I would have appreciated longer battery life. The dedicated film simulation dial also feels unnecessary and takes up precious real estate on the camera body. Since film simulations can already be changed using other controls and are not something I adjust often, I would have preferred that space be used for a more useful setting. Despite these drawbacks, I am extremely happy with my purchase. It is a beautiful camera that I genuinely enjoy looking at, holding, and using. As my first camera, it feels like a great choice and I cannot wait to take it on future trips.

Film Simulation
Love film simulation. Being a film company, the colors of pictures are excellent. Focus is very fast and accurate. Light weight, so you can carry it everywhere.
