The media could not be loaded. I’ve been using the EVDANCE EV Charger Type 2 to CEE Plug / Commando Socket 7.36 kW for over a week now, and it’s been absolutely brilliant! It’s a massive upgrade from the 2.3 kW "granny" charger I had before. The charging speeds are more than three times faster, making it incredibly efficient.Running off a standard 32A socket, the setup was straightforward, and the performance is excellent. The delay timer feature works exactly as expected, allowing me to take full advantage of my off-peak day/night electricity tariff. This not only saves money but also means the charger will essentially pay for itself in just about a month in my case.Highly recommend this charger for anyone looking for a reliable, fast, and cost-effective solution. It’s a game-changer for my EV charging routine!

Used at home in a 32A socket, but also when visiting family, using various adaptors (in France one can charge at 16A in most sockets, and 20A in others, so faster than granny charger). I find it really useful and versatile.The bag is a plus for storage.The reason a knocked a star of it, is that the kWh used are reset at each disconnection of the car, so if you interrupt the charge (to run an errand for example) then when you come back and reconnect, it will start again at 0, instead of continuing the count, so if you monitor the power used, you need to remember to make a note of the value before you plug the car back in. This is minor really.

Waited to review this EV charger cable until I’d had the full use of it. I have a plug in hybrid car with a 26kW battery. I used it as a ‘granny’ charger initially - I made a short adapter lead with a 32A plug one end and a 13A 3 pin the other. Charged on the 10A range with this set up and used a smart plug to charge from midnight till 05:00 - this got me about 9kW of charge. Had a 32A commando socket fitted and run it on the 20A range and used the car to start the charger. Got over 17kW in a little over 4 hours. Very decent charging lead - would highly recommend.
