Very High Quality Paint Markers for Coloring or Art Work
Wow! These are very high quality markers with beautiful vivid colors on paper. I have never used such high quality markers and was so very pleasantly surprised when I used them and saw the difference between inexpensive markers and these Yoshina Posca Paint Marker Pens. The colors are so vivid and "pop". I liked the assortment and spectrum of colors within the set. It took a little practice "prime" (or start the colors flowing on the markers, but after the first two, it was easy. The description stated the colors can be "written over" each other. I did not believe that would be possible, but is WAS. The colors can be written over with the last color showing through - no bleed through.I use the markers for adult coloring books, free form drawings and making notes greeting cards. The only, and I mean only, downside is the tips are thick and cannot be used for pinpoint drawing or fine writing. i wish there were a "thin tip" set available to complement the original set. There is a universe of difference between inexpensive pen markers and these Yoshina Posca Paint Marker Pens. They are even better than I expected or imagined.

Japan’s quality Paint Marker Pen! Must have!
POSCA is a sign pen made by Japan's Mitsubishi Pencil Company, using water-based pigment ink. It's non-toxic, quick-drying, and water-resistant. It can write on black paper, dark colors, as well as photos, plastic, metal, and glass due to its opaque ink that allows for layering. It's versatile for creating posters, cards, writing on photos, or mirrors.I'm delighted to have found a marker set. I plan to use it for various things like my kids' water bottles and school projects.Once the ink dries, you can wash with water without any issues. Although it can be scratched off with a fingernail or a dry cloth, it allows for easy corrections with layering another application. To remove POSCA ink completely, it needs to be soaked in an alkaline detergent, solid soap, or alcohol.

Beautiful quality and thoughtful design
This was a gift for my niece who likes to scrapbook. Her eyes lit up when she tried out the first one. The sticky note was a surprise hit since it allowed her to play with all the markers right away. The thickness was great for a good ergonomic grip and the pouch is a truly thoughtful bonus. I told her to use them up to see how long they'll last for this review, but she treasures them too much to do so!

Not the best
I was excited to use these markers. I knew I needed to be careful, but even with being careful the paint exploded out quickly and spilled all over my paper. I wouldn't say that they are easy to use because of the risk of the paint spilling.

Mostly good
Got these for a party where everyone needed a distinct color. For the most part, they all worked. There were 3 or 4 which didn't want to work initially, but I eventually got them working with a bit of coaxing. Even so, some work better than others. Overall, for our purpose, they worked great, and I am glad to have them around for other misc games/activities.

Who doesn't love POSCA!
I use Posca pens for a lot of my Mixed Media artwork. It is good as a 'paint over' pen for acrylics alcohol markers as well as a stand alone coloring medium. This is a water based ink so watch it with watercolors and always test it before using it on your art piece. The colors are really wonderful and priming is very easy *do NOT over prime as with any marker like this*. It comes in a sturdy zippered case which you can use for the markers or something else. THE PRICE IS GREAT! for what you get. Usually an 8 piece is about $45 so this is a real bargain. It also has a Gold and Silver which is really cool. If you are a Posca lover, collector or just want a cool drawing and coloring tool this is for you. It has a standard bullet nib.

Amazing!
So I've heard lots of good things about this brand from artist friends, but never tried them myself before now. They're super easy to use, and aren't very messy. The colors are nice and bright and dry quickly depending on how much paint you use.I love that you can use them on a variety of different things. So far I've tried a coloring book with thick pages, ceramic figurines, wooden jewelry boxes, and rocks. These pens work wonderfully on all of them. The tips are a bit thick, so are not good for detail work. But that is literally the only fault I can find. And this brand does have thinner versions, so if you need or want to do details, you just have to search for the other pen sizes.
