A great read!
“Anahita’s wanderlust” is a work of fiction mixed with mythological elements. The book is one of its own kind and is very well written, considering the continuous parallels between the real world and Hindu history. My biggest concern before reading the book was if it would do justice to do Madhavi and Gwalav’s story, and i was looking forward to seeing how a parallel is drawn for a story that is so complex in itself with a lot of perspectives to it.The book follows the protagonist Anahita who is a reincarnation of the ancient day Madhavi who wishes to find answers to her queries related to her past life.Throughout the course of the book, there are several themes explored, the biggest one being feminism and patriarchy and how they are more related than we think they are. I like how the author is brutally honest in her views on feminism and her expression of how there is no real equality even after years. Sure things have improved, but the patriarchal outlook of the world hasn’t really changed.I especially loved how Jaya ma’am has asked questions throughout the book that makes you delve deeper and think, the credit of which definitely goes to good writing. The poetries in the book sometimes become a little hard to interpret, but once done, they make it a lovely read.Madhavi’s character has been explored very well, and there are hues to her character that makes it a good read. Gwalav, who also is a chief character hasn’t really been explored a lot, considering his importance to the story. The story of Madhavi and Gwalav is not narrated in the book, so that needs to be read beforehand for proper understanding. The complexity of the story and the variety of interpretations and perspectives to it make it a hard read in the first 15 pages undoubtedly, with all the new characters showing up and their correlations with the mythological aspect of the story, but the true essence of feminism is easily felt after that part is read.Personally, for someone who is new to reading and/or doesn’t read a look, understanding this will be difficult and it’ll definitely be a tough nut to crack. But, Overall, the book is not disappointing at all, and stands very true to its core essence of feminism. I also like how there is no pseudo feminism imposed on the readers and they are free to have their opinion4/5 great read.

Although the laurate has written many writings📑📑 , but this book _*' Anahita's wanderlust '*_📒 is the one where she has tried to make us understand that the character 💫of a woman is considered weak and hopeless, 🎇we can see this in our Vedas and which is relevant even today. But the author👩🏻🦰 has tried to tell us that it is the kindness, generosity and patience🌹❤️ of the woman which we considered helpless and weak because the woman who can bring great personality to the Earth🌍 and gives strength and nurtures warriors⚡💥, how POWERFUL will she be !!🔥🌈And this is followed by a number of more curosities that the Modern day lady Anahita👸🏻 poses before the 'learned individuals',👨🏻🏫 conveying us the quench to dive back into our mythological roots ✨✨to explore our culture with a new dimension🌠🪄🌕_*'Anahita's Wanderlust' 🪄an absolutely amusing form of fiction writing 🌟 .... I've already it , but when I read.*_ _*'ANAHITA' 💫again , I found there are a number of pearls that remained undiscovered.*_🫧_*As modern is the title so is it grounded to its cultural roots. 🪷📚It's a writing that not only includes interest in the modern day science 🔭 🧪 but also provokes the reader to dwell in the rich mythological world of ours.*_⚡✨_*I am stunned to explore the fact that how visionary the writer is 👸🏻 , that how has she amalgamated the present time with the ancient time 🔆, such that it's flaws and merits are completely clear ,🌠 she has done this critical analysis in an equanimous form , ⚡here we felt that the "information and facts" that are considered to have been DISCOVERED now , are actually not 'discovered now' it's FOUND OUT now , and astonishingly it's all the same 🗞️📜📰. As per my opinion I felt that the chapter "Memoirs of Le Monde" resides as the heart of this pleasant writing.🍁🌸🌼*__*This wide ocean 🌊of words , emotions and opinions🪻 still has many oysters 🦪not explored but by the end makes this fact perspicuous that 'NOTHING has CHANGED' , 🌪️the Earth🌎 is same for women as it was then , mortals still roam in search of spirituality🌻 and keep dazzling in the dense fog 🌫️ 🌁 of mortal world , and thus the 📖 book leaves its readers with a keenly thoughtful question ❓ of HUMAN's EXISTENCE🌀 and hence the words of laurate and the world that she has created throughout the book LASTS........ 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟*_
