Door bell was very easy to set up.and the camera is so good you won't believe it.night vision is so clear. Amazing, great value for money.

I'm really impressed with our purchased doorbell. I wasn't expecting anyway near as many features for the price: - Detailed manual. - Well thought out mobile phone software, which lets you configure the doorbell, view recordings and answer the door (where you can see and hear them and respond through the microphone on your mobile or Alexa). - Great picture quality, even at night with the infrared night mode - Surprisingly good audio quality and the adjustable volume goes very loud. - The included battery powered chime has 2x standard doorbell sounds and 2x tunes. Again the adjustable volume goes very loud. - Even without the subscription, when the doorbell is pressed you are alerted on your phone, and you could be anywhere with an internet connection, not just at home. - Motion triggered recording can be enabled without a subscription if you install your own SD card. You can pay a small subscription fee and use their cloud storage (useful is someone tries to steal your doorbell). - For Motion triggered recording you can create active monitored zones and adjust sensitivity to avoid accidental triggering. You can even tell it not to record the audio. - Fitting the doorbell is fairly easy. You can use the strong large sticky pad which fits under the whole base, or use screws. As we mounted our doorbell to the middle of the door itself, we decided to use both and it's rock solid even though the door rattles when you close it. - The battery still hasn't needed to be recharged yet in over 2 weeks. The doorbell has a rubber seal over the charging port which can be accessed while the doorbell is still attached to the door. When we do need to recharge it, I intend to plug in a USB power bank into it, so that it can still be used at the same time. - As a visitor walks up to the door, the doorbell detects them and illuminates a ring around the button so that they know where to press. Very nice touch. - At night, the infrared light emitter is visible which is a good deterrent. - There is even an Alexa skill that allows us to answer the doorbell on our Amazon Echo. - I'm sure there are far more features I've forgotten to mention. Fantastic device and fantastic value for money, what more can I say.

I bought this video doorbell over a Ring one because I didn't want to pay a subscription as ring does, plus I can use a sd card in the doorbell instead which is much better and don't need a subscription or use the cloud part. The good reviews really helped me make my decision as this is what I base any purchase on amazon. Having seen my parents ring doorbell against this one the field of view is slightly less than the Ring but not by much at all. It picks up movement great and I'm only using it on level 3 or default values. The doorbell is located in a enclosed landing my flat is on so wouldn't be picking up anything from outside. I have the image quality set to auto which is very clear but even on sd quality it's good (this would save battery power). The only drawback would be how long the battery lasts. I've only y had it one day so cannot comment to much on this yet. I do have it set to power saving mode and collect 10 seconds of video at a time which is just about sufficient for now but I may increase this. The connection to the WiFi is strong. I have inserted a 16gb sd card I had laying about and after the doorbell has formatted it, this hasn't been used much atall. The Morecam app once downloaded is easy to set the doorbell up with and pair with the doorchime. I would say the app is not difficult to navigate but could be refined in places but there lots of options to select. So far I haven't been able to have notifications of movement pop up on my phone when I don't have the app open (but in contact with the customer service) but when I have the app open I get notifications of movement ok. The notification of the doorbell being pressed comes up good. It's obviously larger than a ring doorbell because it has the internal battery but still not huge. I went with the J10 adjustable version over the fixed one which is much better to get the exact angle I needed for my purposes. The customer service is extremely good and can be contacted via WhatsApp which is how I prefer and get good quick replies to anything. All in all I'm very impressed with this doorbell and pleased I bought it. EDIT.. I can get the notifications now after reinstalling the app and using Cloudedge for the capture. The battery is still going strong at 62% and hasn't be recharged yet at 2 weeks in. As it's enclosed porch it doesn't get much outside movement as I stated before do helps with the battery life. But I'm very pleased.

The camera is amazing. I have used a few products of such, and this one is what I could say a very well done, budget friendly option. The sound quality is nice and is mostly clear, and is quite sensitive which is nice, because it's aware about pretty much anything around it. The connectivity is great and U have no issues with it at all. I use a 5G Broadband from Three and it's around 20 meters between them and two walls and I have never had any signal drops or anything. It's a really good security product as the camera is working well, on both day and night due to the infrared night vision, the local storage and the cloud storage are amazing to store any kind of images or videos. Even more, the product is quite easy to use, even to connect it to the wi-fi. Just make sure to choose the security camera product, not the battery charged one. Overall, the product is super great.

Great video doorbell without paying for subscription. Easy to install and connect to the app on your phone. Great clear picture and the wireless door chime is battery operated with different chimes to choose from. Battery life is lasting about 6 weeks. We did but a sd card for it. Just slot it in and you can save your data. When needs recharge it come with a tool to just lift it off and connect to a USB.

Would give zero stars if I could, don't waste your money. Takes 10 hours to fully charge to then only last a day before needing charging again, seller not really helpful just asks for serial number and says will get a technician to look at the battery!! No technician can resolve poor quality products being used, in less than 20 days I had to charge it more than 10 times. As seller not helpful I started a return to get money back. For the price they are charging I'd expect the battery to last a lot longer than a day. Will go back to the trusty reliable Ring door bell.

So far I’m impressed, easy to set up, comes with videos to show you how to install, I liked the fact I can change the angle of the mount on a narrow doorframe and used adhesive pad. Cloud storage subscription is optional but still records short motion clips to the app. Video is clear. Can’t say yet about longevity but so far it’s working well.

ORIGINAL REVIEW (2 star): The product itself works pretty well and as designed. It is easy to setup/install with the app. Can't really fault the functionality or picture clarity. However, my number 1 pain point with this product is the awful battery life. I'm lucky to get 5 or 6 days out of it before it goes flat on me and it's pretty annoying having to recharge it so often when there are claims that battery life can last up to 3 months. I need reasonable sensitivity settings where I am. That said, I still expected at least 6-8 weeks minimum out of this before recharge. Not sure if I have a dodgy product or not, but if this is typical of what other customers get, the brand really needs to focus on product development so customers don't feel cheated out of £50+. Battery life is shockingly bad and for that reason I cannot recommend the product. ------------------------------------------------- UPDATED REVIEW (3 star) The manufacturer got in touch with me to offer both technical support and a full refund, which I gratefully accepted. They made some suggestions to tweak my settings to help improve the battery life. Generally speaking, this has helped double the battery life to around 10-12 days before a recharge is required (which is a reasonable improvement). It is possible to increase this a little further though by really reducing the sensitivity settings, but for my area, I feel like the current configuration is enough of a compromise. If I was to go on to minimum sensitivity, I assume I could maybe get another 5-6 days battery life out of it again. For the above reasons, I am happy to increase my overall rating to 3 stars. The product itself still has potential to be further developed to get closer to the 3 month battery life claims of some other competitor products. The manufacturer has acknowledged the feedback and offered to put me on a waiting list to test the next new release. I'm looking forward to seeing how this compares. Customer care has been excellent though throughout the follow up process.
