I use this on my pancakes. It tastes really good and does not give me an upset stomach.

Absolutely horrible
I've been enjoying Lakanto since Donna Gates recommended it in the late '90s, and I had to order it from Japan as nobody sold it here then. I love the granulated sugar substitute, their maple roasted mixed nuts, but this is absolutely horrible. I mean, inedible. Has a weird reddish brown color, a very unpleasant smell and tasted sour and way off. Ended up throwing it away and asking for a refund. No idea what happened here but I won't be trying this ever again.

Very good
I like this syrup - good taste and quality. I have to watch what I consume as I have type II diabetes. I only use a little on my keto pancakes. And my sugar levels are good. Smell and taste are not overpowering, it is a little runny/watery, but that’s to be expected and ok with me. I also have the Maple flavor and it’s just as good.

Nasty
Horrid smell and flavor! Can't even explain what it is. Seller was good and reached out and refunded. Other flavors been ok so far.

Lacks Any Hint of Strawberry Flavor
This is a product where the reviews should be divided by flavor. I purchased this based on the thousands of positive reviews, none of which are apparently for the strawberry syrup. I love strawberry matcha lattes and I was looking for a lower-sugar way to enjoy them. This is not it. The strawberry flavor is almost non-existent. Imagine a strawberry LaCroix, but flat and with a third of the flavor. I even tried tasting it twice, in case my expectations were too high the first time. Nope. Hard pass. Easily one of the worst low sugar syrups I've ever tried.

Subtle
I bought this to enhance my hibiscus tea (found a recipe online) but it is not very flavorful. Maybe that's just my palate, but I will try to figure out other ways to use it.

Does not taste good
Im usually a fan of lakanto products (mainly the raw sweeteners) but this is actually awful. However I may have gotten some that’s been sitting around for a long time and went bad because it tastes like old strawberries that went bad.
