This is a very beautiful spoon! It is so versatile, being able to use to scoop food as well as a sort of spatula. I am moving to wooden cooking utensils and this is my first. The quality is impressive, so smooth and no cracks or splinters, and it’s a very good size too, which is exactly what I was looking for! It makes stirring and scraping food out of the pot or pan easy, which I also wanted. It doesn’t scratch my pans either! It works great for deep pots and makes cooking easier for me. As someone used to using silicone or plastic utensils, this is far easier and superior. I will definitely look at the other utensils from this seller! *Updated follow-up review* I have now had this spoon well over 6 months and it’s still perfect. Word of advice, definitely wash by hand after using it and dry it right away, no air drying. I haven’t even oiled it yet, although I probably should. I didn’t wash it right away a few times after use, waited a few hours after cooking, and it still cleaned up very easily. I use a natural dish soap. Definitely a very good quality spoon and I’m back to order another one for the other cook in the house because this has become my personal spoon and I don’t like to share it, lol.

These are really attractive, and a nice size -- a lot of my previous wooden spoons have been fine for using while cooking, but too small to be effective for actually serving -- these guys are big enough to use for serving, as well as attractive enough to go to the table if you want. And so far they're doing just fine in the dishwasher.

Amazing quality, is worth the price

Misleading description. I was under the impression I was getting multiple spoons/spatula.

There was a strong chemical smell that permeated this spoon. As well, it appears to have been used. There was a black splotch (like a burn mark), as well as scratches. Returned it.
