Park Tool SAW-1 Hacksaw Tool

Purchased on a Friday and received the next day with my free Amazon Prime trial, delivery was also free.I was extremely pleased with the delivery service!.I purchased this hack saw to cut the aluminium steerer tube on my new Rockshox forks, I used an x-tools saw guide and the cut was perfect.I was really happy with the result as it was my first time doing this job and it came out far better than expected, as I said - the cut was pefect and I gave the cut a little sand over with a hobby or nail file sanding stick to finish it off but it hardly needed sanding at all.I was a bit worried about cutting my new bicycle forks as they cost me £550, but after doing it I realised it was well worth buying a saw guide and a decent saw even though I'll only use them once for now.So this saw was perfect for the job I used it for.The quality of this Park Tools hack saw is good and works perfectly well, the finish of the saw could perhaps be a bit better. I could have just purchased a Bacho saw for less money but as I'm into mountain bikes I went for the Park saw as it matches my other Park bicycle tools, but to be honest the finish really isn't going to make any difference to how the saw works. Also I think this is just re-branded as a Park Tools saw but still its a good saw, the finish could be better. This may or may not bother you but I would have expected a better quality finish seeing as though its a Park branded tool. I will still give it five stars as it did the job I wanted it to do better than I expected and also I got free next day delivery and it was also a few quid cheaper than the listed price is now as it went up the day after I purchased it!..: )

Cheap cutting it short

not quite the finish i expect from Park Toolthe blade seems cheap toothe stickers don't line up rightmust of been the last one of the daymade in china according to the packaging !!

I got this as I wanted to make sure the carbon cutting blade would fit with no funny business. It is definately a stout hacksaw in comparison to others.

Scie comme mes genoux… Cette scie ne scie absolument pas le métal… J’ai donc utilisé une scie bas de gamme qui a bien fait le job, elle !

Solid build and weighted well

Sehr gute verarbeitete Säge aus Leichtmetal. Griff liegt perfekt in der Hand und das Sägeblatt läßt sich problemlos einspannen. Mit dem mitgelieferten Sägeblatt habe ich bereits mehrere Stücke von einem massiven Stahlwinkel 5mm (Material) abgetrennt und stets einen glatten, geraden und präzisen Schnitt erzielt. Gewohnte Park Tool Qualität.
