Worked perfect for my 04 Toyota 4 Runner
This is great deal for two of these keyless remotes and they work just as good as the original one that came with my car. Take the time to read the other reviews here because they provide great help in how to program them easily and correctly. It only took my hubby a couple tries to get them to work. Now I have a spare one to use just in case. I recommend!

Don't work on my 2002 4Runner.
Could not manage to get them programmed. Car entered programming mode, but when trying to pair those i get an error Code (Car locks and unlocks twice, meaning that a remote cannot be paired). Tried to reprogram our OEM remote, which worked flawlessly. Otherwise quality of the product is nice for the price

Received fobs with dead batteries
TL;DR: the fobs work for my 2000 4Runner. The top reviews have very good tips for programming. However, I'm rating 3 stars as I wasted an hour trying to program them before I realized that the reason it wasn't working was because the batteries in both fobs were dead upon arrival... PS they require 1 CR2032 battery each.I bought my 2000 4Runner a few days ago and it only came with one transponder key and no key fobs. These fobs arrived promptly via Prime. The tip for "helping" the lock actuator by using one hand to pull up/push down the lock while pressing the power door lock rocker with the other hand was very helpful as my driver door lock is weak.Another tip to those who have an existing fob or are trying to program both: once you get to the step where you stick the key in the ignition and turn it to on and then off again, only do that step ONCE before pulling key out of the ignition. If you turn the key on-off, on-off (so, twice) it will erase all existing fobs from your cars' memory and you will have to program any existing fobs again. There was another review that stated this but I hadn't read that part carefully! I successfully programmed the first fob but accidentally erased it when programming the second fob, however, it's easy to sort out once you have the process down.

Dont give up!
Do it over and over til it works. Read other reviews and experiences here. Pretty soon it the steps get easy. Use the up down door lock, not the electronic console button as the console button doesn't send them up and down completely. After finally doing it right (apparently!) it went into programming mode for me. Mustve done it over a dozen times. Also -only twist the key to accessory once not twice as it then keeps original program as your old one had. Once you've pressed the key fob lock/ unlock simultaneously and then the lock only (second key FOB programming phase) the door locks then cycle telling you it worked. Immediately do the 2nd remote in same fashion. Finally to complete the task and check function close the door. Voila you are done. They will now lock and unlock repeatedly. What a deal, 2 new key fobs for 24 bucks!

Not Easy to Program, But They Work
Alright! I was afraid I was destined to use the key to lock and unlock my 1999 4 Runner forever, and as I tried repeatedly to follow the programming instructions I became concerned I'd bought the wrong remotes or there might be something wrong with the on board computer. The good news is I finally got then both programmed. The not so good news is that simply following the instructions on line to which you are directed by the information that comes with the product probably won't get you there. I have to give thanks to the tip by the review identified as "esqxl". When locking and unlocking the door five times in two separate sequences he pointed out you don't have to use the power lock switch on the driver's door. You can instead simply lock and unlock the driver's door by manually pushing down and pulling up the manual door lock five times in each sequence. My power lock switch does not lift and pull down the manual lock five times in a row, so being able to manually lock and unlock using the manual lock was critical information. I also think there are hidden secrets in the instructions, for example, "OPEN and UNLOCK the DRIVER'S side door." It seems confusing. Obviously if you open the driver's door it must be unlocked, but the instruction says to "OPEN and UNLOCK" the door. So, what's the secret? I don't know, but there are two or three ways to "UNLOCK" the driver's door when the door is open. I tried two or three ways of following this direction. I really don't know which one was correct and which didn't work. Also, the next instruction is to "INSERT the key in the ignition and PULL it out." Should you pull the key back out immediately or wait a second or two? I tried it both ways. One worked but which? Or maybe it doesn't matter. Anyway, with each instruction I tried more than one options and finally some combination of performing different options with each step eventually worked. All I can say is, if you have the right keyless remotes for your make and model vehicle, keep trying. I must have tried somewhere near 40 to 50 times before the vehicle entered the programming mode. The price for these two remotes is an excellent value if you have the patience and persistence to get your car to enter the programming mode.

Great product!
Workers just as described. Perfect alternative to price locksmiths or dealership. I’ve purchased 2 sets in the past. Did not work in my 2005 sequoia as there was an issue with the anti theft system that hasn’t been fixed. The second set worked perfectly in my 2006 sequoia. I recommend trying to get your vehicle into programming mode first before purchase. If you can, buy them. If not don’t.
