Great idea, ideal for keeping laptop cables secure yet easy to undo quickly

I’ve purchased several rolls of this hook & loop from cable direct. Quality is excellent and you can get a long roll for the same price of a tiny one of the original brand. It’s super useful.

Stray cables around the back of the television, the working from home office desk or maybe just behind the microwave can often be annoying. We were looking for something quick and easy to tidy these types of cables. Something to keep them both neat and importantly securely tucked away. We like to secure cables down computer desk legs to avoid our legs from tangling with the cables and causing damage or injury. We have previously used plastic zip ties but these are sometimes a pain to adjust especially if you’re adding new cables. Plus the hard plastic might not be suitable for softer cables. We really like that this comes as one role. It’s easy to store on the tool box or draw - you simply cut off the length that you need. So say goodbye to messy cable ties or cutting them so you can’t adjust them again. The tape is very easy to cut and cuts very cleanly. This works just like Velcro and attaches nicely such that it holds fast but is also easy to adjust multiple times impacting its ability to stay secured. If you need something more load-bearing then this might not be the product for you, but for normal cable tidy requirements this is more than adequate.

I really like this product. I used it to hold pipe insulation cover in place. So easy to use.

Brilliant useful reusable Velcro type tape to keep cables under control. There are probably a million other things they can be used for as well. Love it.

Nice double Sided hook and loop. Easy to cut for length or width. For small cables (USB, audio etc) half width works great. For larger power cords (extension cords and similar) full width works.

This 3/4" cable wrap performed extremely well. I have used nylon zip ties before, which can zip cables tighter and more neat. However, they are extremely hard to remove when you need to take one cable out. These don't pull them as tight, but offer the option of very easy removal. I highly recommend these as the best option. Also, go for the longest lenght, which is only slightly higher.

Dass man Kabel damit binden kann, weiß man als Notebookbesitzer meistens schon. Ich habe es allerdings zum flexiblen und schonenden anbinden von Rankpflanzen gekauft und was soll ich sagen: Ich bin begeistert (und auch etwas beschämt, dass ich mich dafür erst durch ein paar Foren wühlen musste). Also, das Problem beim Pflanzen anbinden ist, dass eigentlich jedes Material irgendwie problematisch ist. Drähte sind entweder zu steif, oder zu scharfkantig, oder beides. Schnüre aus Naturfaser sind die perfekten Keimherde, übertragen Sporen und Bakterien und neigen zur Schimmelbildung. Kunstfaserschnüre muss man immer noch knoten, was sie unflexibel macht. Nicht so mit diesem "Velcro"-Band (unter dem Namen hatte ich es zuerst in diesem Zusammenhang gefunden). Das wickle ich einmal mit etwas Spiel und Reserve um die Pflanze (Stengel, Zweig) und am anderen Ende mit ebenfalls etwas Reserve um Stütze/Gitter/Netz etc. Mit der Flauschseite nach innen gibt es kein Verletzungsrisiko und wenn die Pflanze wächst, was ja meistens das Ziel ist, kann ich einfach öffnen und etwas Reserve zugeben und habe so in wenigen Sekunden erreicht, was mit Draht oder Schnur immer ein elendes Gefrimmel ist. Also ich nehme für Kabel in Zukunft den Pflanzenbindedraht und für Pflanzen das hier - und kann das nur zur Nachahmung empfehlen. (Für Kabel ist es bestimmt auch toll, aber wie gesagt, da tut es bei mir Draht, denn Kabel wächst nicht und kann sich auch nicht so leicht verletzen.) Und garantiert gibt es noch ganz viele andere Anwendungsfälle. Dieses Band hier ist obendrein sehr gut verarbeitet, der Flauschbereich ist sehr dicht und wirkt hochwertig und die Hakenseite ist sehr sehr fein und hält dennoch wie ein Magnet. Tolle Ware, jederzeit wieder!
