This is not a Heavy Duty vest - Front zipper is OK. I use for hiking/ photo shoots. Pockets galore! Surely will leave you hands free. 4 Huge Zipper pockets (approx 8" x 10"). Two Inside and 2 outside, 2 medium zipper pockets on outside are approx. 5"x6". ( Good for anything that needs to be secured such as keys, wallets etc). Velcro pockets are perfect for memory cards and spare batteries. Outside top 2 big Velcro pockets (approx 5" x 4") have a net backing. Maybe good for a map. The other 4 Velcro pockets (approx 4" x 3") have a material backing. Extremely lightweight. This is not made of heavy duty material and will not take a lot of weight.. It serves my purpose. The fit really wasn't that important to me as I'm 6'5" 275, so I wasn't that concerned with the fashion aspect, I simply needed a vest with lots of pockets to carry an assortment of lenses, lens caps and a dozen other pieces of photography paraphernalia . However I was pleasantly surprised at the fit and look of this vest. It hangs longer than I expected, and I can actually zip it up, albeit a little snug (but, as previously stated, I'm not a small person).I read some reviews about the quality, but I haven't encountered any such problems.I like the light weight of the vest, especially when I'm traipsing around forests looking for wildlife to shoot (photograph!!).
