The B flat tenor (full size) pbone is Large bore, same as the smaller E flat Alto trombone.

Do I need to buy a mouthpiece or does it come with one?

Would this be suitable for a 7 year old starting lessons and elementary band? or should we get the (non-mini) pbone. difference: bell size? length? w

The positions don't match full size because the mini is an alto. It's in the key of Eb. Probably not a good idea if the 7 year old is trying to learn along with other tenor trombones. But idk if a 7 year old can reach all the positions on a full size.
