Spider Holster 210 Camera Box Set

This little kit allows you to use the classic SpiderPro holster system with a regular belt which is a big plus in my books as the official belt system is rather wide and very velcro so it won't suit all tastes.Naturally you MUST use a strong belt with a really good quality buckle as even the holster by itself is a substantial piece of metal hanging off your hip but even with a D750 and 80-200mm f2.8 on it the weight distribution from not having this round your neck feels SO much better. Recently spent an entire week 8 - 8 shooting with this kit and it worked flawlessly.

Well made, works well, robust.This has completely changed things by allowing the camera to be taken everywhere hanging off the back of my trouser belt. One can carry a dslr with telephoto lens to a formal event as a guest, and be reasonably inconspicuous instead of slung on a strap over the shoulder, which then can become uncomfortable, creasing shirts or jackets, & even sweaty.One issue: for the Canon d650 it's necessary to modify the bracket to allow quick access to the battery compartment, or have to remove the bracket each time. A hacksaw & file made light work of one side of the bracket.

i love the spider pro, i love the system. i ordered the spider pro base and pin and also a spare base plate. the allen key fits in the plate nicely until the little springs in both plates popped out an would not stay in. so i decided to send one back. i am happy with it on the whole but a little disappointed that i have to look around to find the allen key every time i need to take it off. other than that it is a great product.

I love this... simple as that. It's great for me at weddings when I have multiple cameras on the go and don't want straps flailing around everywhere. Easy to slot camera in and out and built like a tank. Extremely confident running around with a 5d3 + 24-70 + 580 when holstered - doesn't feel like it's about to fall out. One thing you will need though (if you've got heavy equipment) is a decent tight belt.

il costo non è indifferente, ma la qualità costruttiva e la comodità del non lasciare mai la camera "da qualche parte" è impagabile. la uso per A1 con Cage e 50 1.2 per video. un bel peso, e lo tiene tranquillamente.

Vraiment génial, mais très cher selon moi. Le cran de verrouillage mériterait d'être un peu durcit, il peut se mettre un peu trop facilement (par accrochage).

Die Gürtelhalterung ist einfach klasse, meine DSLR Kamera mit einem 800 Gram Objektiv ist kaum zu spüren wenn das Set am Gürtel hängt, freue mich schon auf den Sommer, wenn ich ohne Band um den Hals aber mit der DSLR unterwegs bin.

Uso dos de forma profesional con dos reflex D750 y tele 70-200 en una de ellas con el flash y aguanta perfectamente. Tambien he usado black rapid y peak design, pero me quedo con estos por facilidad se enganche y por liberar peso de la espalda. Ni siquiera estreno las correas de serie de las camaras. Para viajes quizás es mas comoda la black rapid, pero solo si no pesa mucho la camara y llevas objetivos pequeños..

Works quite nicely on a reasonable belt: I wasn't wild about the belt that comes with the kit, and I am not a professional photographer, so I decided to buy the box kit without SpiderPro's belt. The kit works great on a heavy nylon strap belt from Paragear and even better on a heavy horsehide gun belt from Kramer. Word to the wise: if you think you're going to put this on a typical double-thick gun belt, guess again: the belt will be too thick. That said, it will fit beautifully on single-thick leather or horsehide. Don't make the mistake of trying to mount this on a cheap leather belt: it will roll, and you will be disappointed.Mounting issues aside, I wish I had discovered this mount sooner. It is fantastic for easy carry of a DSLR. A D750 with a good-sized lens, e.g. 24-70 or 24-120. I have used it for several casual trips up to a few hours, and have been quite comfortable. Not sure how it would serve for more than a couple of hours over varied terrain where I would usually use a Cotton Carrier, but I think it could be a viable option.Highly recommended.
