Easy to swallow, but you could break in half. Recommended by my doctor
The pills are a little large, but I don’t have any trouble swallowing them. You could break them in half to improve the ease of use, and if you have any difficulty swallowing pills. These pills don’t upset my stomach, and the strength is what is recommended by the FDA. I’m not a doctor, but Calcium is doctor recommended: especially for women. There is no texture to speak of, as these are smooth. There is no taste because you simply swallow it with a liquid. They were very fairly priced and I’m going to do a subscribe and save with them because I won’t want to skip any doses. I would definitely recommend this product without reservation.

Big gel capsule
The gel capsule was large, but I was able to swallow it without difficulty. No stomach upset. If you have trouble swallowing some large items, I would try another type of calcium supplement .
