Wow! What a piece of......
If I could ONLY give this product and company negative stars. Upon receiving this item, I immediately noticed the poor quality...when I tried to return it...they want ME to pay $7.53 for returning it...to be deducted from my refund of $15!! I decided to keep it as it wasn't worth eating over half my refund and have nothing to show for it. So, I went to put them together and holy moly....the box bulges at full assembly and the lid slids up and pops off because of this bulging. Never again!!! Please save your money...especially since you run the risk of receiving, disliking and getting jipped by the return fees. You certainly will get what you pay for!!

Fold the scored sides HARD to get these to stay together and sturdy.
I saw reviews saying that these boxes don't hold up, and when I ordered them they were half price, so I ordered 2 sets of 5. Once I got them, I realized why people had trouble. These boxes are made of thick, pre-scored plastic that is meant to be folded hard. They need to be conditioned essentially by over-folding each side until you've felt the seam loosen up. I used a heavy metal rule to help me initially get each side down.Once I pre-folded each side, I hand folded them to condition them before I assembled them. I am used to having to do this sort of thing with projects, so it may take people longer to assemble these. They are not like cardboard boxes where you can just fold it and slot it together.I would like to get more of these, but I'm waiting for the price to drop again.

"Caveat Emptor," I guess...
Wow...this might be the most disappointing product I've purchased in a long time. I guess it's my fault, I've certainly learned a lesson here about paying close attention to the product description and customer reviews! "It's just a magazine holder, THEY'RE ALL THE SAME!" is what I thought when I purchased this product on price alone. BOY WAS I WRONG!The first red flag was when it arrived in a very flat box...way too flat to fit five magazine holders! Yes, I know, I already admitted I should have paid closer attention and realized the customer has to fold these together...but let's talk about that, shall we? It says these are made of "heavy duty plastic." Heavy duty? Please. "Heavy duty plastic" is what my trash barrel is made out of. This is a flimsy, floppy, miserable sheet of vinyl that's about as "heavy duty" as the magazine paper it was designed to hold! In fact, it's so flimsy and floppy that these holders don't stand up by themselves unless they're packed full...if you put just a few magazines in it instead of filling it, the way they lean to one side will make the whole thing fall over. You have to pack it completely full so the magazines stand up straight, or the whole thing is useless. Either that, or you need to use bookends!More about the assembly: the description says they're "easy to assemble." That, I admit, is true. You just fold the flaps, tuck the tabs in, and you're done. Very easy to assemble...and very easy to disassemble, too! The weight of the magazines it holds is too much for the flimsy plastic, which bends enough that the tabs holding it all together pop out and the magazines fall out the bottom when you take it off the shelf. If you put in fewer magazines to reduce the weight, you get back to the first problem I described: it won't stand up on its own. Think of it this way: y'know how you close a box of cereal by tucking that tab on one flap into the little slot on the other flap? Would you trust that tab to hold the flaps shut if you turned the whole box upside down? Of course not, you know the tabs will pop open and you'll have cereal all over the floor. That's how this lousy product is designed, with those flimsy flaps holding the whole thing together on the BOTTOM of the product with all the weight of the contents straining against it.It's like someone intentionally designed this product to fail.

Highly disappointed
See photo! You have to assemble these yourself and once assembled they are all warped and leaving in different directions. None of them sit upright without some part of them bent or leaning or warped. Very disappointed. The colors are bright but not as vivid as in the stock photos. My photo is very accurate on color and shaped after assembly. It's not a trick of the eye or camera, the are really that warped. They're just make from cheap plastic.

Total waste of money
The boxes come flat, are flimsy and will not stay together. I might try to use duct tape to hold it together. I am wondering if it will hold the CDs. Total waste of money.

PRETTY STURDY FOR PLASTIC
I have used these document boxes years ago, and I must say they have much improved the product. I had no trouble putting these together. You just have to make sure you fold the score lines really well, because this adds to the sturdiness of the box and the bottoms will NOT bow. One important fact I think that is worth mentioning, is that there are TWO tabs on each corner of the box tops. You really need to make sure that both tabs are locked in as this adds to the sturdiness. They are actually pretty strong for plastic, so for those reviewers who stated that they were flimsy, they probably didn't put them together correctly. No, they are not rigid corrugated board, but for the price, they are great! I am having no trouble with them being too weak to hold items. Right now, I am using them for special magazine publications (can store 15 -17 issues each depending on thickness of magazine) and for report covers, and miscellaneous office supplies. What I like about the document boxes, is that they stack nicely on a shelf, (looks neat) they can be identified quickly by the metal ID tags and can be collapsed if you don't need them for a while. Plus, I wanted to mix up the colors a little for added visual interest, so I changed the tops of the boxes around. So, maybe I have lime green with a turquoise top, pink with an orange top, the navy with the lime green top, etc. I'm a BIG FAN of these boxes!

Waste of money
Very flimsy plastic, awkward to assemble and collapse if you try to move them. Don't bother - these are being thrown out.

Not suitable for disc storage
Very fiddly in putting together. Very flimsy lids don't want to stay on. Once filled zero chance of lids staying on. Completely unsuitable for stacking.

Not as good.
These were not as strong as they appear or were described. They were wonky and didn't stand up at all no matter which way I assembled them. Poor design. Poor quality.

Follow the instructions and you will have a sturdy box
Nothing to dislike, excellent boxes that go from flat pack to a box with a lid within a couple of minutes. Very Strong and sturdy. Bought to keep CD's in. If need more will buy again.

Sharp edges
These are a little on the flimsy side, but I guess it depends on the use. Thee instructions say it takes less than 5 mins to make each box. The 5th one took me 7mins and that was the quickest. Also be careful of sharp edges. I know i sound negative, but really I'm not. As long as you don't need substantial boxes these are ok for the money
