Good
This item is as described. I got a size medium. It fit perfectly. As for shipping... it said would be delivered next morning early. I got a message stating it was going to be delivered the following day. I would not have purchased it if I had known delivered very would not arrive on time

Good luck
I got the medium because it was recommended for rats and I was super dubious about it staying on, but it fit pretty perfectly and went on easily with one try (before he knew what this was and when he was relaxed)… I was glad to feel it’s like a jelly-like plastic instead of a hard plastic. However, he HATES it. Good luck if you have to use this thing. My rat started throwing his body around and I recommend you put him in a small empty cage to calm them down with treats first and get them used to moving around with it on. Then make their regular cage more accessible/cone-friendly. I had to cut wider holes on his boxes

Fit my gerbil
My gerbil had surgery on his scent gland and kept messing with it. Cone fit perfectly. In order to make sure he couldn't get it off it had to be tight. Ended up not using it as the gerbil fell over while wearing it and wasn't moving. I was scared I was strangling him as I couldn't tell if he was breathing.

Fitzell but be careful with extended use.
So this fits well, but it is still not soft and subtle enough to be safe to use for extended weeks on an animal like a glider. Because of an ongoing issue and a difficult surgery, this had to stay on more than the originally expected two weeks. But by the third week, the side of our poor Friends neck was being split open. Right where this sits. We had to look up something that tends to be something custom-made called an e-jacket. Gliders are bad about self mutilation so you don’t want to have anything that’s going to irritate them severely enough to cause them to mutilate further. But for anything that would be a short as a week or two you will probably fine, but you have to experiment and double check that it’s tied enough to not escape while still giving them breathing room. But from experience, if your vet says yes, this should be fully healed with within two weeks, but they’re talking about anything like a tail amputation, they cannot guarantee that even if things are going well. What sad is most of us won’t be able to provide you cone or an e-jacket. Also buy a small and a medium, as it is really hard to gauge until you’re actually handling your glider with one of these. And if your glider is slightly overweight and might lose weight, you might transition partway through. But make sure to find a sugar glider care group on Facebook or other social media and ask questions and advice from others. They can point you in the direction of glider keepers who custom make e-jackets. Have this or that or both ready before surgery takes place. If you own one of these animals, you should have this already on hand and not wait until there’s an emergency.

Medium fits well on male rats
This fits well on my rats but it does squish their ears (both standard and dumbo). It is very easy to put on a cooperative rat but it can be a two person job for anyone squirmy. I feel confident that this will stay on securely in a hospital cage setting and I believe my rats should be able to eat and drink normally. Overall, I would definitely recommend it. I hope that I never have to use it, but am happy to have it just in case the need arises.

Medium is Smaller than 12cm
I bought the medium size as it said it would fit UP TO 12cm, but if you place the cone with the outside edges touching (it’s not secured as the Velcro pads are side by side, not together) the maximum circumference is only 11cm, definitely cannot fit a 12cm neck as at 11cm the edges aren’t even secured, just held side by side with my fingers.

Didn’t work
It’s impossible to get a rat to wear this.

If in with other animals they will chew it up
It worked good until I put him back in with his other cage mates then they chewed it off.
