AT&T Qi Certified Case-Friendly Wireless Magnetic Charging Car Dock for Apple iPhone, Google Pixel, and Samsung Galaxy (Black)

The Wireless Magnetic Charging Dock lives up to its promises, providing convenient charging on the go. However, after using it for some time, I've identified a couple of areas where it could be improved.Firstly, the clamps used to attach it to the air vent could be more secure. While they do the job, I would prefer a claw-type grip for added stability, especially on bumpy rides.Secondly, the magnet strength leaves something to be desired. It requires some extra attention to ensure the phone is positioned correctly for charging. A stronger magnet would alleviate this issue and provide a more seamless charging experience.Updates: it stops working after one day.

Works well, and does what it claims.

The quality of this phone mount is disappointing in several ways:- The magnets are very weak. I tried using it without the bracket at the bottom and my phone fell at the very first bump. So it's necessary and inconvenient, as when you pick up your phone, you have to lift it up before pulling it toward you, unlike most other MagSafe mounts.- Incompatibility: For some reason, no other USB power adapter that delivers more than 5V would work with this thing. I tested PD and QC3 wall and car chargers, and all of them caused the wireless charging to cycle on and off every 2 seconds. Even a car charger with the exact same specifications written on it was incompatible. So if you lose the original adapter, you'll have to find a 5V-only adapter and be stuck with 8W wireless charging, even if the adapter can supply more.- Poor quality vent mount: the vent mount looks and feels very cheap - you can find more premium materials in your local dollar store. The material of the other pieces is decent, so it's clear this part was manufactured separately.- Charging speed: Although my USB tester showed 18W (at first - couldn't check it while driving,) it's clear the phone wasn't actually receiving that much. While navigating, my phone's battery was still losing 1% every 5 minutes despite the "fast" wireless charging. With a regular 20W USB-PD charger, my phone stays much cooler and has no issue charging while using navigation apps.- Inaccurate description: As other reviewers mentioned, there is no dash mount. However, you can use a variety of other mounts since this fits a standard 17mm ball mount.The only positive thing I have to say about this is due to the rubber backing, the swivel joint locks in very tight and won't budge on bumpy roads. Every other aspect of this product is just less convenient than a simple MagSafe mount + wired charging, so I wouldn't recommend this.

I figured, being a brand name device this would be better. Don't get me wrong, it is very useable and does wireless fast charge, but it has some design flaws and despite the description and photos, only includes the rather poor vent clip.So, my use case is a Note 20 Ultra with a magsafe compatible case. 2 actually. I found that the case with the magnet ring integrated, would not securely seat on this magnet charger. I had to swap over to another case, that has an add on external metal ring. This was enough to securely attach. I also had to remove the support arm as it would prevent my phone from sitting low enough to charge.Those things said, this is probably a great device for Apple phones, or smaller Android phones.

The listing appears to be incorrect where it has an image that claims it has both a vent and a dash mount. I believe those were separate items as the packaging and instructions make no mention of a dash mount.Includes a 12V-24 volt accessory plug charger that outputs up to 18 watts and supports QuickCharge 3.0 with a single USB A port. But the specs for the Qi wireless charger says it only does 15 watts max so there must be some losses for the wireless. The included USB A to USB C cable for connecting the accessory plug charger to the wireless charger is roughly 5ft long.The bottom support is removable and adjustable from approx. 2.5 inches to 3.5 inches. Unfortunately the attachment of the bottom support to the charger is keyed so the USB C plug must point “down” (towards the support). I would’ve preferred if they didn’t key the guide pins (basically 4 pins 90 degrees apart that fit into groves to prevent it from rotating, but one of the pins/groves is larger than the other 3). I ended up using it with the bottom support removed as the magnets were strong enough to hold my phone by themselves (Pixel 7 Pro with Mous magsafe case). The vent clip is well designed with two settings for both thin and slightly thicker vent vanes (I'd say it could support vent vanes 1-3mm thick).

I needed a wireless charging solution for my daily commute...this magnetic car dock is exactly what I was looking for! It's super easy to use - just place my phone on the dock and it starts charging. The Qi certification ensures safe and efficient charging, and the case-friendly design means I don't have to remove my phone case. The circular design is really sleek and modern...it looks great on my dashboard! The magnetic grip is strong and keeps my phone secure, even on bumpy roads. Overall, I'm really happy with this purchase...it's been a great addition to my car!

I like this mount/wireless charger. The clasp is great for the air vent in my car.My only concern will be in the North Texas summer. I’ll come back and update this review if it struggles in the beastly heat we have here.For now—I really like it.

I got this MagSafe charger because the product photos shows and claims both the vent clip and dash mount are provided, but I only received the vent clip. The box states on the vent clip is included as well. The product listing is incorrect.Aside from the incorrect information, the mount works great. My iPhone snaps into place and feels very solid. The 15W charger means very fast charging as well.
