Bandai Hobby Wing Gundam VER.Ka, Bandai Master Grade Action Figure (BAN123714)

UPDATE: I transformed the Wing Zero, and while it took a bit to understand the transformation, it turned out great! I managed to get it on an action base, and here’s a tip: the clear action bases U pins are a bit tight, so it may not fit, but if you have the black action bases, they have a slightly bigger fit and fits right in the hips of the Bird mode, so it’ll look like in the video and you’ll have your soaring Wing Gundam. This was a fun Master Grade to build! My 2nd ver.ka model and personally, I prefer Master Grades overall due to size, looks, and overall feel and quality of the models. The Wing Zero is no exception. A couple of things to consider: This is NOT the Wing Zero Custom from Endless Waltz OVA. It’s closer to the TV series design and even then it’s weird because there’s the manga novels and anime. This is an older Ver.Ka kit, 2004 specifically, so if you’re looking for something newer, I suggest going straight to the EW Custom Zero Ver.Ka kit. With that, the build was awesome! I built the Zeta Ver.Ka and along with this kit were fun and seamless to build. I haven’t posed it much yet, but so far the articulation is good, but again I haven’t posed it up much. As for complicated builds, it isn’t that hard took me 7 hours to build, granted I have build HGs and MGs up to this point, so if you know what you’re doing this is a great build. My main complaints is that the Buster Rifle doesn’t hold well, it tilts downwards and the hands and buster do not have locking pins like most modern builds have, so you’ll have to get creative on how to make the rifle stay up. This is a personal nitpick, but it’s small compared to the RX-78-2 and even the Mark II from Zeta Gundam, again it’s a personal preference. Overall whether you’re a beginner or advanced builder, this is a great kit, and the value at it being roughly 40 bucks, can’t beat that! I recommend this kit!

The build itself is amazing but some of the decals are in difficult to place spots.

Nice detail. Beautiful when finish. THe only down side is that the knee part where there is a hook attach is not as durable as it seems. I hooked the knee pads reversed and unhooked it to switch them the right way and plastic stayed open and it wont hook the knee plastics anymore. Have to use super glue to stick them....What a disappointment. Just be sure to follow instructions step by step and carefully so you wont avoid this hassle of removing parts. Also be careful on playing witht the wings too much, the part where the joint of the wings and the back plate connects it opens up when moving the wings, causing the plastic to open and the wing become loose. I know this is a model kit, but for being a master grade kit, plastic dont hold much.

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my son. He is obsessed with these model kits. He was really happy to have gotten this and even happier when he realized it transforms. It is his first one that transforms. My son has ADHD and these force him to focus on what he is doing. Strongly recommend for any age group!

The value is great on Amazon instead of hobby stores online. The build is top quality and I'm at peace while building.

Chulada de kit muy bonito, completo y que resalta con la colección, lo negativo como es un modelo viejo tiene problemas para sostener su arma, de ahí en fuera una chulada, recomendadisimo

Un gunpla splendido, con un design a dir poco suntuoso. Rispetto alla maggior parte degli altri MG è leggermente inferiore in altezza, tuttavia non è assolutamente un problema, ma solo una caratteristica. Le plastiche hanno dei colori morbidi stupendi, la posabilità è buona, soprattutto considerato il peso e le dimensioni dell'equipaggiamento. Gli adesivi sono un numero eccessivo, non credo valga la pena di applicarli tutti, anche perché rischia di uscire un pasticcio, ma non lo considero un difetto, semplicemente è il marchio di fabbrica di Katoki. Penso sia uno dei gunpla più belli mai prodotti, se volete qualcosa che lasci il segno nella vostra collezione l'acquisto è consigliatissimo.

Ce gundam est une édition spéciale, bien mis en valeur par rapport à autocollants et autres décalquo, plusieurs positions possibles.. Je e le trouve néanmoins un peu fragile et malheureusement, son arme est très difficile à maintenir dans sa main car elle est très lourde..

Keep clear of this kit, it is a stinker, I have a large MG Gundam collection, and this is possibly the worst, doesn't even look good. Get the new EW ver ka wing Gundam instead, one of the best out there, you won't regret it.
