Precision GunMetal Fountain Pen, F

I've used TWSBI fountain pens for many years. I've got multiple Minis, 580s, Ecos... (At least a dozen over the years.) I'm rough on them. Taking them backpacking, mountain climbing. Sailing across oceans on a small sailboat. I like TWSBIs because they hold a lot of ink, write well, and if I break something they'll send me replacement parts for the price of postage. Excellent company. This was a new model so I thought I'd order one. Beautiful pen, really well made, wrote smoothly right from the start. Usually I don't like metal fountain pens. I can write for hours with lightweight plastic pump fountain pens -- no hand cramping. Metal is a bit heavier but I can use this one with the cap unposted. Problem solved. (It also posts which the 580s don't but that's never been a problem. ) Very happy with the new Precision.

I really like TWSBI pens. They are well made and write effortlessly. This may be their first metal barrel pen. It still writes like a TWSBI you'd expect. Unless you like a metal barrel pen, I don't think you need to spend more than their demonstrator pens which for the price are of unbeatable quality and value. This pen is heavier than the demonstrator pens. I don't care for their clip as it's not integrated with the cap like the other TWSBI's. Nevertheless, it is an excellent pen and is as good or better than most other brands. I would consider this a great Lamy competitor. Writes consistently, well made and priced reasonably.

I really LOVE TWSBI pens. Believe it or not I have found them to be more reliable than pens costing 10 X as much. I love the fit, the finish. The materials. TWSBI is fast becoming as reliable as Pilot. Then why the 4? Because of the rubber bands needed to post the cap. Over time this model will begin to fail - not in a functional way, but in a cosmetic and annoying way. The rubber bands will roll off the end, making the cap loose when it posts. You are almost better off NOT posting the cap. Which is SO irritating because the pen is FANTASTIC with the cap posted! I applaud TWSBI for daring to try - and I would give them a 5 for effort,but my 4 stands for outcome. They make other better pens and THOSE deserve 5’s.

Twsbi has some of the best nibs for their price point. The quality is great and haven’t had any problems so far. Great weight and balances well posted or not. As far as the style issue, posting of the pen needs to be a little better thought out. It works ok but the little O rings would seem to be a weak point. That being said I only post the pen half the time and very happy with it otherwise.

I received this fountain pen for Christmas, off of my wish list. I love TWSBI's other pens and wanted to try the Precision because I mainly like metal pens. The nib is smooth and writes well, and there are no hard starts or skips. The weight is substantial but not too heavy to become uncomfortable when writing.

They don't like to honor their "Lifetime Defect Warranty". I had to have Amex take care of it, because Amazon and Twsbi wouldn't.

So far I am loving it! I have one of the twsbi demonstrators and have been wanting this pen since it came out. Just like my first it was a tad scratchy at first but smoothed our quickly. The Fine point is great for day to day notes. Writes quick and isn’t extremely fine or scratchy like some can be. This puts out a descent amount of ink. Using blue pilot ink. Should last forever!

I have other fountain pens which are not quite as expensive. I can tell that this product is worth to have since it performs well and the writing is very smooth. The pen is well balanced and the refillable ink cartridge is good to have. At first I had stored it in my pen holder (OK, an old coffee cup) with the nib down. Do NOT do that! Since it is a fountain pen the ink did leak into the cap which I discovered when I removed the cap. Not the fault of the pen. I highly recommend this product.

This is the first time I'm buying and using the fountain pen…..hexagonal aluminium body, perfect, the tactile sensation to have it between fingers is simply fantastic…….The nib F is appreciable……..fill inside the ink and start without problems. The ink used is a Noodler's Black X-Feather é la prima volta che acquisto un prodotto Twsbi nello specifico la precision Gun Metal. trovo bellissimo e maneggiabile il suo copro esagonale, e la sensazione tra le mani è veramente impagabile…...ho scelto un pennino F e lo trovo perfetto e scorrevole, ho messo l'inchiostro è fa il suo dovere…..come inchiostro uso Noodler's Black X-Feather.

TWSBI kommt aus Taiwan und ist relativ unbekannt in Europa. Aber schade. Qualitativ sind es die besten Füller in dem Preissegment. Füllfederhalter 'Precision Gun' ist der teuerste (bei gerade 100-120 EUR!!!) Schreibgerät im Assortiment. Sehr gutes Design, das schon von der Verpackung anfängt. Die Verpackung ist sehr schön und ist wie ein Schaufenster den edlen Schreibgerät präsentiert. Füller ist sehr gut verarbeitet, sieht sensationell und elegant aus und bietet sehr angenehmen Schreibgefühl. Preis-Leistung Verhältnis stimmt absolut. Wenn man den Füller mit der Konkurrenz vergleicht (Kaweco, Faber Castell), kann man sagen, dass der angesetzte Preis des TWSBI-Gerätes eher zu niedrig ist. Interessant ist auch, dass der Hersteller sich sehr bemüht hat, den Füller leicht zugzerlegbar zu machen. Dafür sind ein spezielles Werkzeug (wenn man es erst findet ;-)) und Anleitung mitgeliefert. Außer Werkzeug ist auch eine kleine Flasche mit Silikon-Öl dabei. Federstärke F ist vollkommen ausreichend. Für die europäischen Verhältnisse ist es eher EF (eine Größe kleiner). Zum Vergleich, TWSBI Feder F wirkt subjektiv ein bisschen feiner als EF bei Pelikan Füller.

Magnífica estilográfica. De escritura fluída y cómoda en la sujeción. Relación calidad/precio estraordinaria. Además, con otra pluma de la misma marca que se me rompió la tapa por accidente, me mandaron el repuesto desde Taiwan cobrando solo los gastos de envio.

ツイスビー万年筆は個人的にかなり好きな万年筆で エコとダイヤモンドミニをつかってますが透明軸以外は初めて。 非使用時の状態で太くもなく長くもなく、ごく一般的なペンと同じくらいのサイズ感 ラミーサファリよりやや短く、やや細い感じ。（写真参照） キャップポスト無しだと、やや短めで私の手のサイズでは扱いやすいですが 手の大きな方だと扱いづらいかも知れません。 キャップポストありだと私の手のサイズでは、やや長すぎかな？って印象でした。 インク窓でインクを確認できますが、ダイヤモンドやエコシリーズのように 残量が明確に確認できるといった感じではないです。（有り無し少ないくらいは分かるかな？） インクフローが多く非常に滑らかでかなり好みの書味なのですが、 用紙によっては裏写りが気になるかも知れませんので用紙の選別や 乾くまでの時間を長く取ったりといった注意が必要かもしれません。 値段も高すぎず安すぎずで万年筆としては扱いやすく悪目立ちもしづらいので 会社で使いたい方にもおすすめかな。 文字はFでもやや太めな印象ですが、普段遣いの他のペンがMやスタブなので 個人的には丁度いいです。 動画を添付しましたので参考にして下さい。
