I let my granddaughter help me cut out shapes in melons, cheese, and meats for fun snacks.

Perfect melon set. My original order was missing some parts but the problem was rectified. Instructions may be useful but we figured it out. Worked well.

This is an excellent little set. Lightweight, sturdy, compact. It's hard to find anything negative to say here. These worked great, and the kids loved the end result!

I’ve needed a way to remove the seeds from melons, small pumpkins or winter squash quickly. The latter I get from a farm late fall, because they keep all winter, and I often prepare them for cooking throughout the year. Usually I use a large spoon to remove seeds, but it's not sharp enough and knives don't manage the curves well and are dangerous.Saw this device and thought “this is it!”. The scooper is just right for getting at rounded areas. The edges of the tool are sharp enough to get at the pulp and strings. The other accessories are interesting but not my main goal, yet the cutters are very cute and may entice me into making a few sweet shapes for salads; also good for pie crust decorations. The plastic is cheap feeling and a bit shaky, not the toughest; so I’m unsure how long the remover will hold together. Still it would make a good gift with other kitchen gear, because it’s not something a person would buy as a necessity and the price is reasonable.
