I bought this cap to wear when I run after dark. The description says it is water resistent but that is not the same as moisture wicking. My hair was dripping after a 7 mile run in moderate weather. I felt like I had to wipe my brow a lot more often than I would if I'd purchased a specialized runner's cap.As far as visibility goes, this cap can't be beaten. You can probably see it from space, but it is better suited for the dog walkers and crossing guards. I'll be sure to wear it when I take the kids trick or treating and I'll wear it until my runner's cap comes in. It's not terrible by any means and I'm happy to wear it in a pinch, but it is not an actual "runner's cap".Well made. Decent quality. I washed it by hand after that first run. I wrung it out as best I could, but it still dripped for several seconds. It retains a LOT of water! The description says it's easy to wash, but it must mean in a machine and I need a clean cap every night, so if I can't rinse and wear, it's not a good choice for me.It's a good cap, actually, but I couldn't give it full marks because it touts itself as a runner's/biker's cap and really it's not for intense exercise.

I didn't do my full diligence and read all the reviews, particularly the ones that say this is NOT a runner's cap. For runners that sweat, the Headsweats hats are much better  Headsweats Race Performance Running/Outdoor Sports Hat , although they don't offer a bright yellow reflective version, which is why I bought this hat. But while wearing this hat the sweat was pouring down my face, and I actually took the hat off to help air out my head and the hat itself while I was running. So therefore it's worthless as a summer running hat. The band is actually thinner than regular caps, so this seems to do a worse job with sweat than any old hat you could buy.This hat has some positives, however. I love how it looks (the yellow version). It seems to hold up well after washing. It's super bright. And for the price they are practically giving these things away.Since I don't work as a crossing guard, which this hat would be perfect for, I plan to try to use this in the winter only, as my winter running hat, when I don't sweat as much. Since running in the winter usually means running in the dark, this extra reflective brightness will come in handy. I would give it a higher rating if I knew for sure it will work well in the winter. But don't buy this to use year round unless you don't sweat at all.

The Neon Color Hat with Reflective Panels is a well constructed cap made of durable materials. It is highly visible during the day and at night it has the silver reflective panels that reflect brightly when a light hits it. The hat has the velcro sizing straps in the back that makes it wearable by virtually any size head. The hat is lightweight but not particularly breathable. The hat has generous dimensions and allows air to circulate because it has room in the crown area.The included pics do not really depict the bright color of the hat.The hat is great for visibility and in my opinion is quite nice looking. For $7.00 this hat is a steal. Highly recommended

I bought this hat to improve my visibility as a walker in gloomy weather (so drivers pulling out of side streets and driveways are more likely to see me). It seems to help a lot in this respect. The color is very bright and clear. The back fastener is velcro. The hat is not especially deep so will tend to come off in a strong wind. But overall very good value.

I bought this hat, for my husband as he is a runner. He is very happy with it! It fits him well (and sometimes, some hats do not) and the color, alone, keeps him very visible to the dangers of the road. It also has the very nice, reflective strips and edging around the brim. The fabric also seems to be a strong one - which is great, because I like hats that last him a while; that can be thrown in the washer. Price and all, this hat is a great purchase! You won't be sorry.

This hat is what it says, very visible, comfortable, well made. I use it because I travel on the road at night. I was told that it lights up well in headlights. My only con would be that it could use a little more reflectiveness. Other than that I am quite pleased with it.

Being a School Crossing Guard means I have to stand in the middle of the street, stopping traffic so the kids can cross the street to get to school. I need to be as visible as possible, and this particular hat can be seen for blocks! The reflective strips and bright yellow make this hat an excellent choice when you will be on the streets in the early mornings or on cloudy days. It is adjustable and lightweight and well-made. The price is great too!

Got this for walking the dog after dark, and although it's not a huge reflective area, it nonetheless catches your attention when you're driving. Husband has a big head (literally, not metaphorically), and the hat has enough strap to fit him securely. Certainly a best buy at this low price.
