The older I get, the more it feels like the wheels are all starting to come off when it comes to my appearance. Wrinkles, white hair, old age spots, thinning hair, etc. The list of ways the mirror reminds me of my age grows with each day. Retinol has helped with my skin...and biotin has helped with my thinning hair. This rice water shampoo also contains rosemary, caffeine, and ginger, which aren't ingredients one would normally expect in a shampoo.I was pretty surprised by how much better my hair looked after just one use. My hair has volume (which it doesn't always have) and is so, so soft. I can't speak to whether it will address my thinning hair, but I have high hopes. The only issue I have is with the scent. My initial reaction was that it reminded me of what the perfume my great-aunt used in the 80's. And, while I am no the verge of being an "old lady," I didn't want to smell like one. But, that might have just been in my head. Everyone else says it smells just fine. If you like the scent, the good news is that it does linger. I washed my hair with a different shampoo and, 30 hours later, I can still smell it. The bad news is...if you aren't a fan of the scent...you will be able to smell it 30 hours later.

This rice shampoo smells nice. It might seem a bit strong in the shower, but once it dries, there's still a pleasant smell, but not overpowering. I haven't noticed any difference in hair growth. It is volumizing — I have straight hair, and it's usually mega flat, but it seems to have a bit more body when I use this shampoo.

I like that it is 3 in 1 shampoo. It smells really good, has hints of rosemary in it. My hair is past the middle of my back and super curly chemo curl added in and it has really softened it. I don't use it every day I rotate it in with my regular shampoo too. It is a plastic bottle with a pump top so you don't over pour it out thankfully. I also feel like it cleanses my scalp when I do use it and it gets rid of all the ick, so I don't need to do multiple washes or any other treatments as well.

I did not have any issues with leaking or the pump - it works well. The bottle itself is an opaque white with a silver top and looks classy. The shampoo has a clean, fresh, slightly perfumed scent that I like. Others have mentioned the scent being too strong - I personally think it's a normal amount of fragrance for a shampoo.My hair felt softer and looked fuller after using the shampoo, so it does seem to add some volume/bounce to my long, straight, highlighted hair. The instructions say to leave this on your scalp for 3-5 minutes (I'm assuming to allow the various oils/extracts/vitamins to do their thing) and to use it every other day. My scalp felt clean and 'awake' after using it and the shampoo provides a good balance between moisturizing and cleansing, leaving my hair feeling soft and clean but not weighed down.

I have not used this long enough to say that my hair has grown and faster. I can say that I noticed my hair had more volume after my first use. It was soft and manageable, but definitely looked thicker. I was very pleased with the results and am happy that I ordered this.It has a nice scent- I mainly noticed the rosemary. I am glad for that, because even though I am not big on scents, I really don't care for the fermented rice water smell other products have- and this had a clean, natural scent.I usually try to go 2-3 days between shampoos. I was able to do this with this shampoo- it did not weigh my hair down, and it did not feel heavy or greasy the next day.Overall, I think this is a very good volumizing shampoo- if that is what you are looking for this is a sold choice.

This shampoo has a typical cream shampoo consistency. I wasn't ever able to get the pump to work and it almost looks like it might be for show. Not a big deal. The first thing that I noticed is that the fragrance was heavy. More of a cologne, masculine smell, but it didn't linger much after rinsing.I have a lot of very long, very dry, thin, naturally blond hair. It's like a head of spiderwebs. Anyone with long naturally blond hair (or probably even bleached) knows that a good shampoo is very hard to find. You walk a tightrope. A moisturizing shampoo tends to leave our very light hair looking dark, dull, and dirty. But, a shampoo that gets a good clean and makes our light shine, will dry our hair so much that it ends up knotted, unmanageable, or breaking.I must say, this may be the best shampoo I've tried yet. My hair was really soft and felt like I'd used a moisture shampoo, but it still felt very smooth and clean. No knots and not feeling like a head full of spiderwebs. This is probably because one of the ingredients is dimethicone. I'll take it.

I was really disappointed when I got this shampoo and read the ingredient list. I have an extremely sensitive scalp, and am allergic to some common shampoo ingredients. So, when I read the ingredient list on the product page as only being "Fermented rice water, Caffeine, Biotin, Citrus peel extracts, Ginger root extract, Rosemary," I was excited. Wrong. The ingredient that bothers me most, cocamidopropyl betaine, is on the ingredient list, along with many others. I can't even try this, which is a waste. Real ingredient list attached.
