When you don't see air bubbles tighten gauge then just reverse the process when finished and install the bleeder. **Q: Does anyone know what thread count is on the gauge itself? I believe the thread is 7/16, but I'm not sure if it's 7/16x20 or 7/16x24.** A: 1/8" NPT or 1/8"x27tpi **Q: Is there a hose adapter available?** A: I believe you could get one made **Q: I need to use this on an 8mm x 1.00 thread caliper, are any other adapters available?** A: Not that I know of. You could just take an M8x1 bleeder screw and drill a hole all the way through. Use a drill that just fits inside the hole in the bottom where the bleeder screw seals. Don't drill the bleeder screw while it's in the caliper. You will need to seal up the original hole in the side of the bleeder screw and get the proper threaded adapter (that fits the pressure gauge thread) welded on. Are you sure it's M8 X 1? I found out that I had frozen rear calipers, a collapsed right front hose and a master cylinder that is on it's way out. $50.00 seams a bit much . However, The fittings cover a wide variety of systems such as my 99 Land Rover discovery SD series 1.
