Disgusting taste that made me feel ill.
Item being reviewed: VED Calcium & D3 CHEWABLE Tablet | 30 Days Supply. Lot#: CaDT1023. Best Before: 30-06-2026.Price at time of order / review: £5.99 as it's currently 5% off its normal £6.29.Ingredients: Calcium carbonate - 1000mg, vitamin D3 - 880IU, starch, colloidal silicon dioxide, micro-crystalline cellulose, MPS, talc, magnesium stearate, di-calcium phosphate, PVPK-30.I found it very unsettling that VED does not state the entire ingredient list in their ad. Nor is there a photo of the back of the box that would show this to a customer. I also note that from reading the prior reviews, that no one likes the taste of these chewable pills. I don't either. They are one of the most foul tasting things I've ever tried. I couldn't even finish one. I spit out half of it and threw the rest of the box away. They are beyond nasty tasting. I think I tasted a hint of fake orange flavor which makes no sense because there's no such ingredient listed. The pill was disgustingly sweet which is also odd because no form of sugar that I'm familiar with is listed. There is a UK address listed on the box as the distributor; but, there is no manufacturer info given. The listing states that they give you 30 tablets per bottle. Yet I received a box, and a box is shown in the photos. The listing claims each tablet contains 880mg of vitamin D, yet the box has it listed as 880IU. Which is it? One milligram (mg) of vitamin D3 is equivalent to 40,000 International Units (IU).Here's a more detailed breakdown: 1mcg (microgram) of vitamin D = 40 IU, 1mg = 1000 mcg. Therefore, 1mg of vitamin D3 = 1000 mcg * 40 IU/mcg = 40,000 IU. That's just a little bit of a difference.

Aftertaste
I don’t like the ‘aftertaste’ which lingers after chewing the tablet.

Odd taste
It seems to work. But not the best taste in the world.
