My futon had all busted seams, threads hanging out and insides coming out! Also my sectional began to get rips. It bothered me so much, I wanted a new coach set but I have a 1 and 3 year old so figured it would get ruined again. My furniture looked so busted I was on the brink of buying a new set I’m so happy I tried this instead. I also purchased my own glue too even tho this adhesive is pretty good and holding up. The patches have helped for the rips to stop spreading and made my futon look practically new again. When you look close you can tell somethings there to cover it up, or maybe it’s because I know it’s there. Either way much better than a busted couch, couch cover or blanket to cover it (which my kids always immediately removed). Bought me time before needing to buy new furniture and saved me some money for now. The surface of the chair was peeling/flaking away and making a mess. I was going to use this material just to keep the peeling material from falling on the floor...didn't have to look good. Well it doesn't look good with creases and it won't stay adhered. I probably should have just used duct tape. It wouldn't have looked good but it would have stayed adhered.
